I got GT4 demo on my PS2.

Hey guys.. I got gt4 demo game a weeks ago from a shop over here which sells.. well let say .. illegal ps2 game copys   ..

It got about 30 cars in the demo..
Very nice cars..

Graphic over all is 100 % better than GT3..
Car sound is much more realistic.. I mean I got an SL55.. It sounds like the real thing .. Mclaren sounds terrefic.. not like GT3 where all the cars sounds almost the same..

Thottle response differ from one car to another.. handling feels a lot better and more realistic..

I can only play 2 mods on this demo
Arcade and lessons..
Arcade I can only play against my self in the demo

Lessons : I got about 25 different lessons I take to unlock the cars.. and it seems to be very very nice and challenging..

You're lucky, is it the japanese demo version ?
Is there really a McLaren F1 ? I never heard about this

Evo 01-26-2004 04:49 PM

Yep .. Japan demo..
And yes their is a Mclaren.. .. And it's fast... and sounds super great

Ford GT40 is their too..
EVO 8
a lot of touring class cars..

Is it GT4 prologue? They've launched GT4 prologue last month in Japan, thats a pre-version of GT4 and only available in Japan. I heard it is a short game like GTconcept.

B.T.W http://www.gt4ever.tk/ is an unofficial site about GT4 with lots of screens(about 500!!)

A demo?

With 30 cars I suppose you mean GT4 Prologue as said by redbaron.

And yes redbaron.. sort of GTC, but of course new cars and tracks and a glimpse of what GT4 will be... I played it a while in the shop of a friend, it's worth the money anyway IMO.. to kill the wait ;)

I got it for $4.. hehehe..

i just check the list, is it the official list ?? I am surprised by the presence of Lamborghini/ Maserati/ Mclaren but it's a good surprise . Just missing the F1 cars, they were so awesome in GT3. Killed everything ... :D

TT 01-26-2004 05:25 PM

No that list is very old and fake

redbaron 01-26-2004 05:33 PM

There is a chance Lambo's come in GT4, because Lamborghini is owned by VAG (VW etc) and VAG really will be well presented in GT4, I already saw some screens of Skodas, Audis, Bentleys and lots of VWs.
