I hope this 93 estate will be a success for saab. They're a brand that dares to follow it's own path and doesn't put profit first.

I like it. My only objections are the chrome strip at the back (why the hell is it there?), and the interior, which is as always with saab too plasticky. My advice is to go for the wood-finished dash.

AMG? Looks like someone mixed up Brabus with AMG

Anyhow, recorded a nice drifting video with the new '05 GTO (or Monaro for everyone outside US ) over the weekend. IMO, it's better than the old one from Speed Channel last year. Thanks to zippo for hosting the vid.
Speed Channel Test Drive - 2005 Pontiac GTO (Drifting at Arizona Firebird Raceway).avi

Still have to check other shows I recorded, a little bit behind on car stuff lately

Thanks Alien, a cool video. Its always nice to see a Monaro (or GTO) in action - sure looks pretty capable as a drift machine. :D

thanks for the vids, that porsche sure is one of a kind..but too bad its useless

Nice video indeed. First I thought it was a repost of that video of last year. Tom seems to have improved his drifting skills. The monaro/GTO looks better with those air intakes on the bonnet. You hear a lot of good things about the car, but the styling still doesn't do it for me.

thx for the new video!!!

ARMAN 06-30-2005 05:50 PM

Well, not a nice cars at all imo but ALOT of power to give :)
Thanx Alien and... whos space is this? Zippo? Thanx

Thanks for the new videos AlienDB7.

Always cracks me up when someone mentions leafsprings and sportscars in the same sentence. Must say that the Vette is very good bang for buck, at least in the states. Much pricier where I live. Seriously doubt that it's one of the best sportscars in the world but the Americans are very patriotic.

The narrator in the AMS - Nardo clip talked about Brabus implanting the V12 from the 6-class. Is it my ears that let me down or what?

ARMAN 07-01-2005 05:14 PM

Thanx Alien :P From C6 and 997 - I'd take 997 :) The C6 price in America is so ubeliavably low :?

Schwalbe 07-02-2005 05:35 PM

Thank you infinitely AlienDB7 for this AMS special annual episode at Nardo. The 9ff GT2 is awesome !

I hope to see part 2 very soon. :D

I heard that too Ghostbat. LOL ! Perhaps the AMS translator heard the number "Sechs" (6) in the place of the letter "S". :hmm:
