PS: And don't tell me you got an invitation for some other party from people I don't know :P |
The Garage has changed a lot, again, and the BE is soon delivered, somehow I feel that Mags still got some kind of surprice in his sleeve..
When you got time, pics of the new Spider and the story about 599 would be most welcome. This thread is DA BOMB. |

My Mac laptop just got nuked  a couple days ago when my Cat or small Boxer dog spilled my cup of Duncan Donuts coffee on it so I think I lost some pics and other stuff. I'll try and post some pics of the 599 and the new Spider and Coupe maybe tomorrow from my Mac desktop computer. Today, my girlfriend and I had the Spider out this afternoon for a ride and tonight we took it when we went to a restaurant. The new F430 Spider and Coupe are just unreal!! :shocked!: The sound is absolutely illegal! The difference between the 06 Spider with the TUBI and 07 Spider with the stock factory exhaust is amazing! The TUBI is quiet compared to the factory system. For me.... the 07 Ferraris work better than Viagra! I had the 599 out yesterday and it was brutal! You can tell that is has 'big gonads' just from cruising around some. I goosed it a little yesterday and she just wanted to go into hyper-speed. :faint: What's amazing is that (I think) Car and Driver lists the 599 as the fastest 0-60 time of any car (if I remember correctly) including the Enzo, Carrera GT, SLR and a few others! I'm sure that other magazines may show a different story but it's nice to know the 599 can certainly hold it's own! :drinking: Please give me a few days and I'll do (hopefully) a great write-up on all three cars. I guess you could say now I'm an addict....... a Ferrari addict that is! :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Mags |

Buying a car is usually a little different then that. Sometimes I get worried on whether or not I should get the car and then toss and turn at night :wall: trying to figure out if I need the new ride or not. Concerning the CLK, I'm really excited about getting her and seeing first hand what all the hooplais about. :onfire: The new Ferraris are just fantastic. :shocked!: The sound of the 07 F430s is almost better than sex.... You noticed I said almost! They just sing their song so easily. The 599 cruises right along and when you give here a little extra throttle, she then starts to growl like a Siberian Tiger! :faint: Sure am glad I made the deal selling the CGT and the SLR and got the new Ferraris. I'm driving them a ton more!!! Mags |
I am a little late in saying this, but, nice additions to the collection Mags! I can fully understand your reasons for selling the SLR and CGT. What's the point of having cars you don't drive? That would be like buying a nice painting and not wanting to look at it. Not to mention that it gives you the opportunity to experience far more cars.
I can't wait to see that evil CLK :D |
Is the 07 430 really louder than previous versions of the 430? I once saw a 430 spider, and the noice was amazing! Don't know if it was a 07, but it was really loud!

In fact, when I first got my 05 F430 and fired her up to hear that beautiful sound, I couldn't figure out why some Ferrari owners were jumping all over Tubi exhaust systems. The factory system was plenty loud and if indeed, the Tubi was louder, I don't think I would want it anyway! Maybe the Tubi systems offer more performance at certain RPMs, but since I'm a 'good ole country boy' and don't track or street race my cars, I don't need to alter my cars to make them insanely fast. :onfire: I guess in the previous Ferrari 355 or 360 and earlier, Tubi systems were necessary to make them really sing. Apparently Ferrari decided on their own (or with suggestions from their owners) to make their own sweet sounding and performing systems which they definitely have produced! Mags |
Just had a call this morning from my salesman in Columbus, Ohio and he told me Mercedes has released the Black series for delivery to their dealers. He said he would call the Transport Company Monday and see what the scoop on the delivery of my White one will be. Maybe this week!!!
Already trying to think of a neat license plate for her! :roflmao: Mags |
awesome can't wait for picture updates.

I'm baaack! :robot: Guess who dropped in for lunch today? Yep.... the CLK63AMG BS! They delivered her from Columbus, Ohio today. The General Manager and my Salesman both came up to pay me a visit and bring me a present.
The car is unbelievable! It looked unreal coming down the drive. The White really stands out and the all carbon fiber looks fantastic against the White background. I was going to try and post some pics of her but there was a slight problem. The only way to get a pic of the CLK Black was from the deck of Noah's Ark! :( You see.... we had another day of torrential rain here in Ohio! So you're just going to have to wait until tomorrow or Saturday for me to get some pics for you. Meanwhile.... here's a couple tidbits about the Black Series. The seats grab your ass like like a alligator latching on to its prey. When I sat down and started the car, these arms from both interior sides came out and scared the hell out of me. :shocked!: I thought the monster 'Alien' was attacking. Turned out just to be the automatic seat belt arms presenting the belts to you and virtually saying, "OK Dummy, put your seat belt on!" Next interesting thing is the 'Sound of Music'! Damn she sounds sweet! The movie 'Deep Throat' has nothing on this car. :wanker: It sounds like a lion ready to charge! Magnificent! Remarkable! The interior trim is really sharp. The side panels of the doors have this kinda quilted look. The dash is sweet and the controls are well laid out. After the 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive up from Columbus, the guys even stopped at the local gas station to fill up the tank! Plus, when I took the CLK to an appointment I had at 1:00, I was setting up the radio and went to see if I had Siriius radio as an option. Not only do I have Sirius radio, the two salesmen even activated my subscription for me. That's the first time in two years since I started getting Sirius radio in my cars that anyone has bothered to start my subscription for me! How's that for service and good customer relations? She sits so low, I'll probably have to clean the spit from ants off the front spoiler chin after each time I have her out! :faint: I'm really happy I got her and can't wait to share some pics and more info with all of you. Hopefully, tomorrow or Saturday, I'll take some neat pictures and certainly provide some more details on this 'super stealth' machine! Mags |
Can't wait to see the pics mag! Congrats on your new ride!
