Hi inso, My last SL550 wasn't too shabby. I actually freaked :scrambleup: out on it when I saw her on the showroom floor. In fact, I had gone there in December of 06 to see the Silver SLR they had since February of 06 only to find out they had dealer traded it to a San Diego Mercedes dealer who wanted that car 'specifically' for a customer who desperately :drool: wanted a Silver SLR with the Black 'Silver Arrow' interior.


That's when I saw the Pewter SL550 sitting there. I saw it in the morning and closed a deal on her in the afternoon of the same day! Think she turned me on? :roflmao: I think it was a 'classy' color.

Now you guys got me going on White so I'm re-evaluating :hmm: my 'Iridium Silver' selection on the upcoming purchase of the CLK63 BE! Waddya think..... Silver or White on the CLK63 BE? Mags

p.s. The dealer quoted me MSRP on the CLK63 BE. I believe that's a pretty good price since 'supposedly' the car is going to be hotter than a Firecracker!!!

I would go for black on the CLK BE, it would look so evil! Either that or a dark metallic grey. I don't know what color options it comes in though.

I loved the silver BE, but after seeing this white one, no comparison.. What other colours there are available for BE? At german configurator there are 12colours for clk63amg, my favourites are calcite white, tenorit grey metallic and chrome black metallic.

I'll get a Black CLK63 BE if you guys promise to come over and wash and wax it for me! :roflmao: I have a Black Cayenne Turbo S right now and it's a complete nightmare :shocked!: to keep clean. Oh it looks fantastic for the first hour or so after a wash but then reality sets in once dirt and dust settle on her. :bad-words:

I've found on the few cars I've owned :roll: that White, Silver or even Yellow seem to look clean no matter what unless you drive them through a mud puddle! Mags

We have the same problem in South Africa, the dust on the roads just dont allow you to own a black car :( Go for the Silver BE, whatever you do dont take the white...too bland for a clk
