Damn..... I'm sorry guys! I had her out a few times already (including today) and just haven't thought of taking pics cause I'm having too much fun. The GF and I took the F430 out last night when we went out to eat. She is just blast to drive and listen too. :2gunfire:

Monday, I took the SLR to the office. Whoa Daddy! I'm really getting use to her and some of her pros and cons. One con.... Mercedes builds a car that can go a zillion miles an hour and then they go ahead and tuck the power port underneath the armrest so that when you plug in you V1 or Escort, the 'dang' armrest won't close because the the plug sticks up too high. Hey Mercedes..... "What the Hey?" :bad-words:

The steering on the SLR is a little hard at slow speeds which feels abnormal. BUT the good news is she really wants to get it on. In fact I can almost hear her saying to me.... "Let's get ready to rumble!" :slap: And that she does! Her exhaust note coming from underneath the front fenders into your ears is a song that you definitely want to hear! More on her later.... promise!

Now for what you been waiting for. A quickie take on the GT3RS. Woofff!!!
:shocked!: I took her to the office today, 30 mile round trip. She is an absolute riot to drive. The ride is as firm as a anything I've been in. I think it's a toss-up between her and the Carrera GT as to which rides firmer! In fact, looking out the rear view mirror reminds me of when I was riding my Harleys a couple of years ago! The mirror shakes so much that anything your looking out seems to have swallowed 'Mexican jumping beans!' :multi:

And then there's the gearshift pattern..... tight as a '18 year old virgin'! Niiice! I was lucky enough to have gotten full leather interior with 'Orange' stiching. Really dresses up the interior.

Please give me a few more days to get some pics to you. I'll try and take some pics tomorrow (Sunny and 67 degrees) and get them to you either Saturday or Sunday.

Again..... Sorry for the delay but it been so long since I've driven any of my cars that I become a 'Zombie' once I get in one of them and just forget about what's going on in the world!

As the Carrera GT plate says..... "ILL B BAC". Mags

p.s. Oh yeah..... we're taking the SLR to dinner tonight!!! :prr:

Thanks for the update Mags!

The F430 is a nice car for every occasion but the SLR is for special ones!

I can't even imagine how it would sound when you opened the taps just a little bit when your just cruising.

Anyway about the GT3RS, that car really means serious business. Its so rough you wouldn't be able to use it everyday I guess.. That car is THE BUSINESS!

Can't wait for the pics and the plate, no rush Micheal don't worry! Im sure its worth the wait!

Hey Erez, Thanks..... I'm having a great time in the RS. It sits so low you kinda feel like you're on a 'motorized' skateboard going like a 'bat out of hell'!

I checked the mileage from Denver, Colorado to Youngstown, Ohio and it's approximately 1400 miles and about 21 hours of driving time. Hope that helps. Michael :good:

Erez 03-31-2007 02:11 PM

8) yeah i can only imagine the feel of flying an RS on the highway next to H2s F-350s and such...
:D so its safe to say your happy with it.

well @140 average i could do it in 10 hours.. but i doubt i could rent a car for that..
(i'd be lucky if they would rent me anything in my age i guess.. :? )
well since the trip isn't all planned out already and we might go to Toronto first (family friends..)..
who knows i might stop by   (if its ok that is  )

anywho.. 0X for living the dream 8)

Well I guess it's best to give you some pics of the GT3RS before you all get too belligerent! So here's some pics I took the day after I got her. We had 4-5 inches of snow that day! The pics are in the garage of the house I own next door to my main house. I had to buy this house and its 7 acres to rest assure the land going down the main drive (2500 ft. long), stayed pristine with its woods and little ponds. It's like coming home to a nature park everyday with all the animals and woods all over the place.

I was going to take some pics yesterday but I had the Carrera GT out and got all consumed enjoying driving it around everywhere. Heck..... I even drove it to my office!

I'll try and get some more pics of the GT3RS in a couple of days. Stay tuned to this channel! Magwheel
