Neither did I, but what is your definition of a competition powder gun, and what is the criteria for comparrison? Power? Killability? Portability? Noise? Weight? Cost?

You seem to be focusing on accuracy at a distance.
I'd take the blue marlin .22 competition rifle I use to own over almost any air rifle. That being said, it also cost a small fortune. Prolly the most expensive thing I owned before age 20.

Well, we all take away what we want, and everyone leaves happy. I wouldn't swop my custom air-rifle for any powder burner, and that's the truth. It can nail paper targets at 100 yards, and kill rabbits at the same distance, yet can also shoot 0.10" 5 shot centre-to-centre groups at 10 metres.

Crossman 760 PumpmasterD .177cal 8) I've had it since i was 15 but haven't shot it since i was maybe 17 :?

Other than this, i've shot a couple of old .22 rifles and a Taurus .44 Revolver. I"m not the best shot but i can terrorize a pop can from a decent distance :D
