The GTE is maybe not the most desirable car, but picturewise it's better than the others where there is always somebody in the frame or in the cars

I missed this topic until now, wow, what an awesome selection of cars at that show! And only $20 to get it, almost a bargin for the cars you see.

My favs
-Ford GT without a roof,
-CLS55 with black wheels,
-$8,739/month 60 month lease for the S7  :!:

hmmm....

I think not.

GT's are ending production in August; and yours truly will be there for the whole of the event ;)

now... it is possible that guys who work for Ford/and or other suppliers have created a door mechanism like that, but it is definately not stock.

Nice photos :) i'm a bit suprised they let in a DeLorean hehe. Any more shots of the IMSA March Chevrolet? what year is it?

It is called the Ford GT X-1 ... I saw the same car in the Houston Autoshow earlier this year (http://www.motorworld.net/forum/show...hlight=houston). The car was on display by a private firm that does the customization and not in the main Ford booth. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/?storyId=12302

I think you guys are talking abotu 2 diff. cars.. ;)

The GTX1 is the yellow topless one... but there is a bizarre Lambo-door silver GT that is the original topic of this conversation.
