I guess it shows where his heart really lies. I'm gonna try to get some sleep for about 4 hours so I can see the last 3-4 hours I've been up since it started yesterday and it's about 1:30 here. I swear if I miss the end I will go on a killing spree.

For those who remember the last series 5thGear episode in which someone bought an ex Michael Schumacher Formula One Ferrari, if my memory serves me correctly, it was Episode 6 from Series 5.
He, Frank Montain, is the owner of Cirtek Motorsport which has entered the #92 Ferrari 360 in the 2004 edition. He's also one of the drivers and his team is currently (10:45 hrs CET) driving in 20th position with 243 laps on their tally. Just 8 laps behind Colin McRae cs.

im back, ive had breakfast and relaxed for awhile, my eyes had turned TOTALLY red of watching pc and TV for some 18 hours in a row.
Porsches still going strong :) Racing for Holland 10th and 15th :? and the leading Ferrari with a flat tyre, so that gives plenty of surprises for GTS class

well it's over now and looks like Audi won again. the podium is all Audi.
Corvette also won so that's great news

gucom 06-13-2004 11:26 AM

lol i wanted Ferrari to win, but alas. Racing for Holland came in 7th and 17th, they deserved better after all they had to go through. I believe the TVR's actually both lasted throughout the entire race  lol. I just hope next year will be just as exciting, cos 2005 ill be there myself :D already looking forward to it.
Now im pretty sad its all over already, its IMO the greatest motorsports event of the year.

The race was better than last years :) :)

Nice effort by Herbert to catch Ara and a big day for Tom Kristensen.

I only got to catch the beginning and the start of the night racing, but that was one of the most exciting segments so i'm not complaining. Did they ever figure out if it was actually the gravel that was causing all the flats or is that still just speculation?

T-Bird 06-14-2004 01:06 AM

they pretty much accepted it was the gravel since it was everywhere in the pits when they changed tires

sau_mathur 06-14-2004 09:31 AM

Cant believe how dominant Audi have been in the past 6 yrs in LeMans....thats a 1-2-3 finish for them....HECTIC..!! They are like the Ferrari in Formula 1

blah 06-14-2004 09:43 AM

also oil was there at first. but then people spun out from the oil, and when they came back on track they brought gravel with them.
