So a 120mph street race? And the driver fled? Apparently the car was owned by Chris Meek (a keen car collector in the UK) at some stage - don't know whether he still own(s/ed) it :bah: |
the guy hit the pole first
there is a pic of it consider how fast he was traveling,, the car's safety seems top notch i know that car...there is a guy in l.a. with 2 enzo.. both with euro plate.. a red one , and a black one with tubi exhaust,, own by teh same guy |
"Erikssen told them the driver of the car fled on foot"
"We get some speed violations, but nothing over 70 mph" He's so full of shit :fist: |
Damn Swede, he shoulda stuck to the straight freeways and not the PCH.

BTW there's sth. fishy here: 1. Erikssen had a blood-alcohol level of .09, which is above the legal limit... 2. The passenger had blood on his mouth; and both airbags on the car deployed, but only the driver's side airbag had blood on it, not the passenger side... do you still buy the story of the fled driver? |
A downloadable video of the Enzo crash at Pacific Coast Highway.

Well - this is supposedly the most "inside" inside info you're gonna get... a member on the Z06 Forum posted this yesterday - he hasn't been a BSer up till now, so may be true..

He hasn't confirmed the rumour that the chap was engaged in a race against his own SLR McLaren Mercedes. One would assume he would have seen the SLR as well. |
An F60 Enzo? Once again someone uses that reference, no wonder I am confused!
|
Well - an eye witness says "no SLR around at the time"...

its not usual to have a quali time that much slower then race pace... especially for endurance racing... perhaps quali was under wet conditions?
