We are going to sell his Corvette Z06 to the dealer in Cleveland that bought 6 of my other cars and then he'll hop in the F430. Just had the Spider out when I went to my weight training session. Ay, caramba! :onfire: What a ride! |

I am looking at trying to get one somehow but I'd like to be able to walk away with some clothes on my back after I'm done with the transaction! Mags |

You sir, are a fortunate man and the decisions you make are yours to make. I enjoy reading your escapades and love the child-like excitement you display with each new acquisition and release.
|
WEEEELLLLL, I can't say I'm very surprised to see you sold 2 of your best cars ever... but mad? No.. not mad! :D
You haven't crashed them, haven't you?? It seems the F430 really got your heart! Two, and a third one coming?! Well, about the CGT and SLR not being very "daily usable" and you end up driving them once a month... I have the solution for that :!: :!: By these means... I volunteer myself to give a little ride on a weakly basis on your cars (even the Toyotas) so they don't get rusty!!  You know.. if you have a "boring" task like that to do, just give me a call!! But, one thing I don't understand... why don't you keep any of your "old" cars? I think the older one I knew was the CGT, probably one of your favorites. You get tired of them? Don't have space? I just don't get it!! I can't even imagine what it is to drive a CGT, so I can't even imagine what you think! |
I thought you guys might like to see a pic of all three F430s together. So I lined them up the other day and here are the results. Magwheel

Thanks for the pics, very nice :P
|
Loved to hear again from you mags.
In my books F430s are supercars too, SLR being more of a GT and Well, I did like the CGT, there is just something in one for me kind of wanna-be supercarfreak. Now that you enjoy your GT3RS; Porsche has recently leaked GT2 brochures, usability to the max with about the same OOOMPH as the CGT: http://www.porscheguys.com/GT2.pdf Strange that 599 is so high in price, looks like there is really frisky demand on them. Donīt know if you Mags ever owned F40 or 288GTO, you just might like one, at least depreciation should be next to nothing with those cars. Anyways really loved to hear from you again, donīt forget us :) |
nice mags, I like the way you handle your garage in an active way, though I wouldn't get rid of some cars ;) congrats and may you and your son enjoy the cars
|
So do you just shut your eyes and let divinity guide you to which one you're going to drive each day? Like a ouija board?

what if you have a dream about a blue F430 .... :hmm:
|
I am a bit sad to see the CGT and SLR go, but well, I just adore the constant evolution in your garage and I hope you won't stop :)
|
Perhaps someone should edit those pictures of the F430's with a watermark, since other pictures were already stolen from this topic by other forums, and they put their watermarks on those :x

just incredible man! |
How about a big teaser until the I make public the 'Surprise..... Surprise"!
1) It has 2 ways in and only 2 places to sit :?: 2) The power is in the front :hmm: 3) It has about 2444 types of shoes  4) It has paddles to play with :-/ 5) Giddy-up! :onfire: 6) Mama Mia  7) If you input the right numbers on the graphic attachment below, you could get half or 1/3 of the name of the SURPRISE! (Depends on how you want to call it!) :wall: Let's see how many JW members can guess the right answer. :prr: :P :roflmao: Mags http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/1...atoruy4.th.jpg |
Enzo ?
Veyron ? Massarti ? hell either way .. i love you.... |

I can get you one, I just require a non refundable deposit of $500,000 :D I'll keep playing your game: 997 GT2 |
Maserati 3200GT?
|
I won't even try to guess it :) I want the surprise :)
BTW mag, I know it probably doesn't pop your cherry, but what about "older" cars? What fascinates me about them is that with few $$$ you can buy lot of cars :) and I think 1970-80-early 90 cars have such a charme. And usually you can buy and sell them without even loosing lot of money :) |
BTW, Just because you guessed something and I haven't said yea or nay to your post, doesn't mean you have guessed wrong. :x You may be right... and not even know it! :slap: You'll notice I said good guesses to every post so far! I don't want to ruin the teaser and give out the results and besides, it's fun watching everyone take their shot..... uhhh at guessing..... not at me! :2gunfire: Mags
p.s. The surprise should be here sometime tomorrow unless a 'Terminator' gets involved somehow! :prr: |
My guess would also be GT2, but i guess they are yet too hard to come by even for you Mags. Well maybe it is 996 gt2, that shouldnīt be too hard to get.
|
Well... the right numbers on the attachment are : 3-6-9
Soo... It has someting like: 963 936 639 693 369 396 From these options... let me think |
Porsche 936, the engine I believe is at the back, so... it can't be.
Buut, you say its an "old" car with paddles??? That makes me remember one car... |
The Ferrari 355 F1 could be a guess, although it only uses one right number.. but it is mid-engined... maybe a Maseratti?
|
Well... final guess... Maserati 3200GT Cambiocorsa Spider
Just the 3-6-9 numbers aren't what I've expected. Let's wait to see... :) |
Well... it could be other thing different from a car, maybe an airplane or a boat!! :D
|
5 post in a row... what a spammer...

In the past, I've played around with a 1963 Chevy 409, a 1964 Chevy 409, a 1970 Chevy Chevelle 396 and a 1970 455 Pontiac GTO. Routine maintenance was OK but extended repair probably would have been a pain. They were still very exciting cars! Mags |

Focus on the '2444 types of shoes' and Giddy-up! What else wears shoes other than a human being? And when you say the phrase Giddy-up, what are you referring to? :?: Heh..... heh...... heh! Can't sleep, work or play huh? You guys know this is driving you nuts. If all goes well today and tonight, tomorrow, I will release the surprise but only after I give you the answers to all the clues! :slap: FWIW, The surprise is already purchased but it's arrival is what I waiting on. It may not even be an automobile! :prr: Yeah right!!! Mags |
Well "giddy up".....sounds horsy to me....so i reckon its this.
A Ferrari Enzo OR AKA A Ferrari F60 Now i can type '60' on a calculator so that would be 1/3 of the name "Ferrari-F-60" or 1/2 the name "F-60". Did i win??? :) |
Quote:
p.s. You did hit on a clue hint.... just gotta take it a little farther! :roflmao: |
you can type so much things there
8CC M6 612 57 or S7 - as in Saleen |
good golly, don't tell me you bought the Nero Black F50 that sold last Monday...
|
24 as in Z4 M Copue !! thats 1/3, FE and with paddles :D
|
Are you sure it is not 2448 types of shoes. If so I think I know the car. --> 612 Scaglietti
|
^ That would be my guess too

Since you got the one hint almost right, I'll give you another one for FREE! Ain't I a nice guy? :slap: The absolutely correct long version name of the surprise consists of a name, then 3 numbers, then three letters and then another name. So there is actually four parts to the name of my surprise to you guys (and girls - to be politically correct)! :prr: Mags I hope I'm not driving any of you to drink! :drinking: |
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
Here's my reasoning: - Horses wear shoes. There are 4 shoes on a horse - 2444 types of shoes = 611 horses (divide by 4) = power output of the Fiorano Its power is also quoted 620 cv - hence the 2480 shoes confusion My bad. I mistakenly got 611 and thought we were talking about the model number 611 - hence I thought you made a mistake and should have put 612. So what do I win. Hope you got one of the darker colors - it looks fantastic in maroon or silverstone grey. |
Quote:
What do you win if you're right? How about a few 8 1/2 x 11 Hi-Res photos of some of my cars (your choice) if you are right? :hmm: BUT..... remember, I didn't say you were right! :prr: I just can't reveal the surprise until tomorrow when I'm finally able to rub my grubby little paws all over it. Plus, I have to send out a BIG THANK YOU  to a certain someone who sent me a ton of leads via e-mail to try and help me find one of these things. Mags p.s. You say the 599 looks good in the darker colors? :shocked!: Lemme guess again.... there's dozens of them running all around the Lone Star State! I thought those were harder to get a hold of than Chicken Teeth? :roflmao: |
^^

So who are the current JWers with the prancing horse? Jabba, magwheel (times 3 soon to be times 4), and me. Anyone I missed? Bobafett and that kid's whose dad owned an F50, Enzo, etc are no longer active on this site. Better get a move on it. What color were you looking at? F1 or manual? From experience let em tell you, hunting for an Fcar is so much fun. I wish I could afford another one. C'mon mags adopt me. :) |
F430 Scuderia would be a nice one too, BUT I guess the name we are going after is Fiorano 599 GTB.
Well anyways whatever the car, Mags is not letting us down, never has been, never will.. Congrats mate, again, for a good purchase. |
