Saw Top Gear tonight as well, including the trailer, it's going to be an awesome series! I see a serious orgy of supercars all going for the TG lap record, who's coming out on top though? Enzo in with a shout but can you rule out the Macca F1?

Dont think they can beat the CGT ... but if the CGT is beaten lets hope its by the Enzo

Let's hope the Enzo, CGT etc.. are tested on a non-raining day. Either way, the record will probably be broken

Not sure, Enzo has higher power to weight by a little and is similarly high tech, will be little in it. McLaren has a much higher power to weight but is a lot softer in its springing. I reckon the Enzo has the best chance.

The CGT (supposedly) usually outperforms the Enzo on tight circuits but i'm sure it will be close nonetheless. But what about the F40? Sure it's old but we're still talking over 400bhp/ton and mountains of torque.

Actually there's a pile of classics / cars no longer in production which i'd love to see thrashed around the TG test track. Here's a wish list, in case Clarkson's reading - maybe he's here for the video vault to relive his favourite moments :lol:

they show the half hour eps of Top Gear on BBC on Foxtel, pretty much only car reviews without stars in reasonably priced cars or news, but it's better than nothing!

I've been absent for too long but certainly can't miss out on the new Top Gear season.

About the new Top Gear Trailer: well like the daddy says, this promises to be the best Top Gear season yet. Missed it on tv last week :oops: but now my vcr is allready programmed for tomorrow. They said the Enzo is coming so I hope it will be the CGT-Enzo-Zonda comparison we've all been waiting for. Best of all, I don't think anyone has reviewed those 3 together before. IMO these are the current ultimate supercars available. Maybe they could also have added the Koenigsegg, but I don't think that's as good as these 3. All 3 have a bit atmospheric engine, mid-engine layout and a very good reputation. This should be the ultimate car test EVER!!!

The only thing I would change is make it a comparison done by JC, Tiff and Vicki. The hamster is quite good to but can't match Tiff's driving or Vicki's sexyness. And James well he doesn't seem to be able to drive :roll: He allways loses in a drag race with a huge amount, no matter what car he's in.

Conclusion: can't wait till tomorrow night!! I absofuckinglutely have to see it.

Nope, he got close thought. He had the Enzo, the Zonda and the Koenigsegg on his DVD, but he didn't have a CGT. The CGT was released a bit later then the Enzo so I suppose that was the reason.

2.c gt - good, bad not that fast like enzo
3.SLR not supersport, only GT

Totally agree with you. Feel kinda sad that race car drivers like Tiff, Vicki and Jason Plato have to test boring or economy cars in 5th Gear. Look at Jason Plato, first 3 eps of this series,, he got to test the 1 series, ford focus and a diesel citreon c2 :x

Don't get me wrong, I agree, that the 959 was a good car.....but can you further explain why it is better than the F40? :!:

It was more comfortable, but even the sportiest version only got to 60mph quicker than the F40. In every other performance cateogry the F40 ate it alive.(well except traction I suppose)

It would be an interesting watch to see them go head to head. But I think the F40 has more mystique about it.
