I think the reliablitly of the Mclaren has never changed ..............recalling 98,99 even tho they won the driver's title, they have poor reliability...and now ..they just have poor reliability LOL

Great to see Button get his podium, in addition to a closer gap between P1 and P2, but I'm still afraid of another 2003 repeat.

Yeah mean a 2002 repeat? Because in 2003 the Championship technically went down to the last race and practically to the second to last race. But I think 2003 was definitely one of the more interesting championships in recent memory.

A little bit late this morning huh Jabba ;) .

No I was working on getting the full race up ASAP (would have been about five hours earlier as well if I had not got a flat tire today)

19 R.SCHUMACHER Williams + 29 laps

well, if i remember right, at one point he had to drive off the track cuz his engine set fire

*though that could've been plenty of other guys, there was lots of engine failure in that race*

Just pulling your chain (joking) since I did type up the initial results ;). Thanks for putting up the race again :) .

Great race. Happy to see Button in the podium. Hopefully Button & Sato will do better & better this season. When I saw Sato's having engine failure & Barrichello's time was faster & faster few laps before the race end, it was quite intense.

kteo2003 03-22-2004 01:32 PM

schumi did it again but this time the williams especially montoya made some interesting times...let just hope that it will be interesting this f1 season...i hope that from the next race ferrari won't be alone...

xecutioner 03-22-2004 01:53 PM

i laughed how montoya blamed barrichello for holding him up when really montoya wasnt even gaining any ground on barri and was 1 to 1 and a half secs behind barri all the time and yet he montoya still blames him

cant he just accept that m.schui just beat him

MCLARENF1 03-25-2004 06:49 PM

my uneducated friends, its been some time after my last post and already i am sunk in a "FERRARI GLORY HUNTING CROWD"!

MCLARENF1 03-25-2004 06:52 PM

lets not forget the dominence of mclaren in the early 90's and late 80's,it will all end some day!

beemrmem3 03-25-2004 07:59 PM

I think once Williams-BMW gets a little more development in the fw26, Montoya will be able to keep pace with schuey easily. I thought it was a great battle between JPM and MCS eventhough they werent ever wheel to wheel, it still went back and forth. JPM would crank off 3-4 good laps and get close. Then MCS would crank off a few. I think Montoya had the fastest lap. I think they reason montoya didnt seem to happy is because he was probably frustrated that he has to drive so much harder to almost keep up to ferrari. Plus he is so used to winning(CART, Indy500), he probably expects to win.
