I thought he liked the DB9 better than the Vantage. And the VW Phaeton?

Strange list, rather un-Clarkson.

LotusGT1 09-12-2006 06:28 AM

Not to mention, a dreamgarage without classics?

Mattk 09-12-2006 06:31 AM

^Indeed. Clarkson seems enamoured of a lot of older automobiles.

TopGearNL 09-12-2006 07:19 AM

I can imagine this being someones dreamlist, but JCs??

Where's the E-type, DB7 Vantage, F40 etc etc?

Mattk 09-12-2006 07:39 AM

Maybe it was limited to cars in current production?

LotusGT1 09-12-2006 07:40 AM

Well..that would make the list rather pointless. Besides, AFAIK the Phaeton is no longer produced :)

Mattk 09-12-2006 07:42 AM

^Yeah, it isn't, but they only just announced its discontinuation. I dunno, that just seemed to be a fairly plausible explanation. I'm sure there was a time limit of sorts.

Its obvious the Veyron is his number one after his review about it...

Mattk 09-13-2006 10:38 PM

My uncle has an A8. It seems like a fairly sedate vehicle.

yg60m 09-14-2006 03:22 PM

I am surprised to not see a Ford GT, he owns one after all as well as a Range Rover ...

Mattk 09-15-2006 06:03 AM

Maybe this is his actual garage........

Global Douchebag 09-18-2006 08:33 PM

That’s huge that he put the C6 in there. But a disgrace that he has no Ferrari’s and 6 German cars!! (yes 6 if you look at the list again)

T5 09-24-2006 02:35 PM

No Ferrari? :o

He must be seriously ill...

Fleischmann 09-24-2006 02:45 PM

^^^ Remember what he said ?? "I'm bored with Ferrari"...

...and then a few months later he falls in love with the F430. He should stick to what he says because he is becoming less credible as a motoring journalist IMO. He's still an entertaining comedian though :D
