The peak torque figure is pretty irrelavent, the distribution of this torque through the rev range is far more important and achieving a broad torque distribution through the engine opperating speed range is what BMW M engines have been very very good at.

Awesome! I once saw the new E90 3 series all decked out with camo-tape...when the driver saw I was checking it out, he dropped the hammer and left me to wallow in my slow Forester. :lol:

if u are looking for a tourque car,, They are defitnly not M cars.. they are all high rev, and lower on tourque.. the e46M3 have around 276lb of tourque, if my memory server me correct just be in right rpm range if u ever want to acceralte.. no biggie on the tourgue number |
