I never fired a gun so far. Once held one...

I've been playing with the idea to go try one out...

I would say yes if you have been shooting some before, I shot with it in Orlando as I told you in another thread....

There they where very hung up on safety, and you had to load single bullets....They also said we wherent allowed to shoot it with one hand...

A friend of mine who was a UN soldier in Lebanon shoot with it in Tel Aviv there they could load the clip and fire as they wanted much cooler and more fun....

What kicked harder was the 454 Casull with a hard packed bullet, its only natural of course the Casull being a revolver and all the recoyl going straight into your arms....
I was bleeding from between my pointing finger and my thumb after I had shot with the Casull..... 8)

Are yuo planning to go to that shooting range in Orlando to shoot?

If so rent the Tommy gun too, its great fun to throw out 50 rounds in one single blow.... :D

May 7ht, this saturday, there is a gun show close from here (in melbourne, a couple of miles away from where I live) and they are supposed to rent guns in that range too so I will go see what they have. I talked to a friend who went to the one in melbourne, and he told me that the place was not big and that they only made you sign a liability form and you were on your own... so if they have the DE there, I might be able to shoot with one hand (try to at least). Next week, Im OFF from class before my summer classes begin and I am trying to convince 2 other friends to come with me to Orlando for the shooting range =D

hrmm my father is one of those big gun/target shooters so here is a list of what i have shot (most stuff he has owned at one time, or still does)

AR-15
desert eagle 44mag
springfield armory .45 1911
springfield armory M1
Mini 14
Longbarrel 9mm Uzi
Smith and Wesson .22
Ruger 22
Sako 270 with custom engraved stock
2 or 3 various 243s
Ruger super blackhawk
star compact 45
Ruger 7mm rifle
Winchester 22LR
Glock 9mm
Berreta 9mm
Taurus 9mm
SKS

dad has his own shotting range setup on his property with piston, rifle, and large rifle targets, so i started at a early age with guns (9) and he does most of his own reloading, and molds alot of bullets..

graywolf624 05-06-2005 07:12 PM

I use to have a competition grade .22 rifle, other then that I've always used someone elses gun(usually my father's, who was a shooting instructor). I won't list what I've shot since it'd be too numerous to list or remember. I prefer rifles but have shot all types. When I was younger my father wanted to train me to shoot in the olympics, I lost interest but I'm still a damn good shot with a rifle with peep sights, not to bad with open either. I always thought scopes were cheating but I might reconsider as my eyes go bad.

I though the Desert Eagle was a 50 cal.

Edit:
Oops, sorry about that, I see that Desert Eagle is also available as a .44 mag. Cheers!

PaulGT2164 05-06-2005 08:12 PM
