Nice pics, I guess it makes you realise that you don't actually have to go that far even within England to see some great cars. When did they close the McLaren showroom there? That was always the highlight of Park Lane for me..

It was only a few months ago... they closed it after selling the car inside for £1million .. it's a shame as i have never visited Park Lane (looking for cars) and never seen an F1 in the flesh before :?

Most of the cars you listed are common in central london except the DB5  .. too bad no pics :(

Even now when i visit London, the amount of Arnarge's, high-end Mercs and Ferraris is simply too much. Manchester is similar, but you only see about 5% of the cars you see in London

^^^

I have been around the Manchester dealers... but not the Lambo North centre at Stockport yet.

When i went to ferrari they had an Enzo.. a customers car, coverd up, staying there for a while. NXT time i go past i will look and see if they have uncovered it 8)

There is also this place in Manchester that i want to visit... seems like a massive place, somewhere near Victoria station  www.saclassics.co.uk

oooo lemme guess; the red mini, blue tvr and rs6 avant were taken in cambridge??

On a summers sunday afternoon you'll see astons, tvr's, gallardos, ferraris, bentleys, imprezas, evos, caterhams etc etc in cambridge but as you said you get all of that and more in london every day of the week

DTM8 08-23-2004 07:18 PM

nice pics skituner.

Barely a good car in sight when I visited London a few years back, I guess it changed. :D

Ford Capri 2.8i 08-26-2004 04:38 PM

thanks a million, im really impresed with the quality of the pics that you got....the Gallardo, the black evo VIII, the merc CL65, the jag XJ 200, the F40, and the Audi Quattro looks astonishing.......since the cars shown are great, even the M3 CSL looks like as a piece of shit(in a good sense) to be honest.......congratulations for the good work
