i thought it stood for "G.et I.n G.ear, D.amn Y.ou". i don't know why. that's what my uncle used to say to me all the time during my yardwork. i also always thought your screen name bore a striking resemblance to mine in a way. geekdiggy. gigdy. say them both fast, sounds funny.

abbor 07-18-2004 06:12 AM

abbor is a nickname some friends of mine gave me many years back. It's because we were on a camp, fishing abbor, they thought about that they have a very short memory, an when I over and over forgot something, they called me that..
It's really not a good nick, but I'm used to it...

LotusGT1 07-18-2004 06:31 AM

Chose it 6 years ago because I liked the car, figured sticking with it would be the most convenient...

dingo 07-18-2004 06:39 AM

Mine comes from a nickname a Canadian girl I met gave me after I kept calling her Maple Leaf.....since the dingo is her favourite Aussie animal. The 21 was my age when I joined but that has changed so I should probably update it. :)

DMbaseball1604 07-18-2004 06:57 AM

DM stands for "Dallas Mustangs" which is the baseball team I play for...and 16 is my number ...and 04 is the year I graduated

v0od0o 07-18-2004 07:37 AM

voodoo is a kind of black magic, which is cool but isn't how I got the name actually.
The thing is first time I've used IRC (around 7 years ago) I had a voodoo card that I wanted to sell and used the nick to "advertise" for it :) I didn't sell the card but I made lots of friends so I continued with the nick just to be identified on IRC, till it grew on me and I used it ever since. The old nick before that was Ghost Raider, but I think v0od0o is a lot better 8)
