The race was good, a nice one for the ferrari fans. Impressive run by MSC, Rubens, and Trulli.

But an unfortunate loss for Mclaren Mercedes and Montoya :(

All I can say is I agree with komotar, if things keep going on like this, no one is going to watch F1. Al least not me.
You gotta give Ferrari and MS credit for being as good as they are but it really takes some of the excitement out of the game.

the start of the race had me all excited that perhaps someone else will win, I am still glad schumi won, but was hoping that trulli would challenge him a little more, especially more toward the end, but it was not meant to be, button did quite well, he started next to kimi, and got all the way down to 8th, pretty impressive; from the looks of things, bar and renault are really becoming the next mclaren and williams, lets hope the continue to do well

Shit , 5 of 5 , this is very sick , when was the last time that one driver won the 5 first races ? and that a team get a 1-2 in 3 of the 5 races , plus a 1-3 and a 1-6 , This prioves Ferrari is in another level , the only way to nivelate everything again is puting some rules over Ferrari , just for them ...

Yeah I realized that after I posted that second post. The first post has yet to be broken though and it still just demonstrates the f1 has a history of dynasties so people are overreacting.

The most consecutive wins in total is 9 over the 1952 and 1953 seasons by Alberto Ascari driving a Ferrari.

The most consective wins in a season is as mentioned by the others above - Clark, Mansell, and Schumacher.

In fact, Jim Clark won 6 consecutive races in 1965 that he attended. However since he missed the Monaco GP in the middle to attend the Indy 500, only 5 in a row count for this statistic.
