Well its not a Ferrari , its just to catch the searches.
The Laforza is a monster , it was one of the best SUVs back in the 90s

I was looking at buying one a few years ago, but passed because there isn't enough support for the vehicle anymore. It's based off a military vehicle and reminded me of a scaled down Lambo LM. Aside from the Ford drivetrain, body parts and interior parts are only available through the manufacturer in SoCal...and if they go bankrupt AGAIN, it'll be that much more difficult. They also tended to have electrical gremlins too.
They were an Italian designed SUV with a Ford engine and drivetrain. They made an attempt at the market in the early 90s and went bankrupt, were picked up again in the late 90s and put out "new" early 1990 SUVs from left over parts. They were at www.laforza.com but it looks like they might have pick up completely this time. I'm not sure if they're actually around anymore.
LaforzaLand is probably the most comprehensive place where all the owners congregate:

Here's an easy read on it:

In the mid-‘80s, a company in Escondido, CA started importing this truck ("the force") from Italy, a semi-military SUV-like vehicle, it would be powered by a high output Ford V8 and outfitted with an extremely luxurious interior. The price was a then-ridiculous $39,000, so of course it became popular only among certain Hollywood-types. BAICALLY ITS A FORD!

Basically a ford chassis with a ratty fiberglass body and a butt ugly interior thrown in. The Ferrari of suv's.. yeah right..
