This is rather new webpage with very interesting concept. Idea is that you have to be invited by some of your friends who already is a member of orkut. (I can do first invitation for you, so you can invite your friends yourself.
I can olny invite persons who give me their first and last name and working email. (you may either email or PM me this information)
And then you can basicly browse your friends, your friend's friends and so on and so on.. Very nice idea. Then you can see who are your friend's pals and mates.. :) Worth to give it a try!
Also you can join to different communities (thousand available, or you can start one of your own). I belong to some cars and photographic communities for example as I also love taking photos..
TT, why not to start JW community?

How to give it a try if you can only be invited by somebody?

Those who want to join in, should email me their first and last name + email adddress. First and last name will be the ones that your friends use in search engine to locate you within orkut.com system.

Oh well.. seems that yes I must invite you first place... Well ok. PM or email me your emails and I'll invite you to use orkut. then you will be members and can already invite for friends yourself.
EDIT: In friends invitation form there has to be entered your first and last name also...
So everybody who wants to be infited should email or PM me his/hers first and last name and an email.
What do they do with the information after "they" get it?
Anytime a "community" gathers that kind of demographic supposedly for the "community" to keep in touch - they "gatherers" sell the info and you get a bazillion junk email;s - or worse... ;)

Why does your friend, Martin Hanson, have a dildo wrapped around his face?

I'am afraid I don't fancy the concept of this 'friends network'
So I won't accept your invitation Tanelvali
Hope you won't hold it against me

Hehe.. LOL. The users can basicly upload any photo of themselves. and as my friend Martin has uploaded some jerkoff with dildo to his personal information page.. then yeah, I cannot change it.

hahaha it's so old speedkiller made a post about it!
I am a member of orkut, if there is someone who wants to join in, just email me
the best thing about orkut is that I could find a lot of old friends that I haven't seen for years...
but sometimes orkut really sucks
