Hey all. What do you think the new trends will be for the next year or so in car design and aftermarket modification?

I hope the future will be good for our upcoming cars, but like what i already heared it does'nt look good. I will hate it when whe all drive in those little cars with a 2 BHP, V2, 0.8L cars that only go around the 100 km/U / 60 mph maximum. It makes me sick...

LOOKS:
I thinks that the most ugliest cars have to come in the future, but not Ferrari, Lambo, Bugatti,... The rest will go to the way that Honda with some models is doing... = :fist:

INTIRIOR:
I'm pretty sure there will be much more comfort than now, more things to make the driver feel "King" in his car. = :fadein:

ELECTRONICS:
I think cars with computers in that control you're speed, and if you go faster than you may drive there, you've got an ticket, i've heard some months ago on the news...if also got one word on this: Fuck the Belgian government if this plan comes trough!!! = :fist: :fist:

ENGINE & PERFORMANCE:
I think all the cars will be slower and have more economic engines than now, only the supercars will have the big engines = :fist:

FUEL & COSTS:
The fuel prize will cost much much more, and maybe later whe'll drive water engines = :fist:

Well, for example one of the hottest trands in atermarket modification of the last couple of years is the addition of clear Altezza/Euro/Lexus style tailights. Recently the overall trend has shifted from the extreme Japanese styling to the more 'refined' Euro style. I'm always interested to see where styles are heading, and what the new 'must have' items will be, so thought I'd ask the opinions of all the car lovers on here.

a shift towards electric/gas cars and eventually to hydrogen. and if the current trends continue i predict less and less driver input and control, letting the car think for itself. which i absolutely hate.

in australia recientley it has been wide body modification to cars, making them look "fatt"

also a trend that doesen't go away is wrx's and turbo cars

drifting is also big, the desire to go around cnr's sideways is catching on!

I agree with Mopsdrops in that engines are going to get bigger and more powerful, whilst at the same time more and more small and pathetic little engined smart cars will be made.

I think the more significant change will be to the interiors. They have come a long way in recent years, and I think they will continue to get better this year!

HOPEFULLY the Asian Rice Rocketeer craze is put down as if it was a dog with rabies that eats children.

Safety ................. Safety sells cars. Admit it, even tho guys are forking out the money, if he is married, the car final decision is often affected by his wife or childern. So the trend of cars I guess will be turning into a http://www.jfainc.com/images/safe.jpg

keke, just kidding. Of course more power, more aerodynamic efficient, and brake shorter while consuming less fuel.
