since i am a dedicated Ferrari lover i am going to Maranello over the summer and i need some information on where it is located and how to get into the factory or muesium but i dont know if it is possible to go into the factory (probably not) but for the muesium do you need reservations of any sort? if so where can i find them? BTW 1st trip to Europe so better go to some good places any other good places to go to?

^^^ dani's explanation is also my experience. Although I've also been there three years ago and the Galeria collection was different (it changes once in a while), not less IMO.
Just one thing, I don't know about you Aussies, but we Dutchies have no such thing as siesta or godawfully long lunch breaks, but the Italians sure do. So check what the opening times are. When we reached the Galeria it was just about to close and was going to open in a long while. The spare time was too short for a drive to Lamborghini with time to check things out there and the drive back. So we saw everything there is to see in Maranello (alas, no testing going on) and had time to see it three times more. We wasted a lot of time there, unfortunately. Which also resulted in arriving in Sant 'Agata after the factory had closed. Ergo: plan your visits!

I went to the museam 4 odd years ago. It was interesting seeing all the cars, especially the F1 engines on stands. But IMO if i'd made the trip soley for the museam i would have been dissapointed. We were on our way from venice to florence (or florence to rome, i cant remember!).
Still i spect it has developed since them. When we went back then there was no need to reserve, buy tickets on the door. Oh and watch out 4 the MAD bikers on the surrounding roads, i saw no ferrari's only absolute nutters goin balls out on a variety of fuckin quick bikes!
