u should go on the links section, there's a video about a SRT-4 with brakes on fire.
Performance wise, I guess this is the best bang-4-da-buck car u can get. However, it's not the best looking car for that money for sure, and I think there are also concerns about the durability of the drivetrain, so I guess u should take alook at Neon forums and see what the owners says.

I have never had a problem with dodges. and that was the dudes problem the car has more torque then HP you can't go above 2k or you will start peelin out. And by the way i know I will do purely engine mods and the first thing i will do is put on a smaller spoiler.

By The Way the brakes on fire were from a neon R/T

I have heard no reports of engines blowing up, unless you count the guys who tune the car on the ragged edge. Turbo motor or not, add more boost and not enough fuel as well and bye engine. Chrysler has a lot of knowledge building turbo 4's back when most of their line up was turbo powered. And the video of the Neon with the brakes on fire, that was a regular one with upgraded pads.

well it isnt that bad because these are limited number production. the 2003 ones when they first started are retail 19,995 and they resell for about 1000 less now

If the Neon's weren't so damn ugly I wouldn't mind one but for that car class I would still go for an SVT Focus

really glad youre picking one up, Devilsdog9.
im a little biased, but i love these cars to death. i saw an electric blue one the other day and i was floored. i love the look and performance from the car as well as all the factory standards for the 2004. (the LSD and all the packages) but yeah get the spoiler off!!

I don't think that was an SRT-4 actually...it was just a plain Neon souped up and decalled.
