recently my computer was starting to freeze due to the burner not responding. so i tried hitting the reset button (which didn't work) followed by the on/off button in front (which also didn't work) so in frustration i hit the on/off (I/O) button in the rear. Then when i turn it back on, the thing doesn't start. After holding the button and so on and so forth i gave up. like 10 min. later it'll start on its own? some kind of delay or lag time...any ideas? u think its the motherboard? powersupply? or the switch that's messed up? thanks for the input!

Well my comp will automatically turn itself back on (which pisses me off) if I turn it off with just the power button and not shutting it down in Windows.

So does your computer not turn on at all when you hit the power button or is it just that one time where you hit the switch on the ps?

Well Crazidude & LilOutlaws,

Based on the symptoms you're describing I suppose your computer got infected by a bug called "sasser"
Through this

link you'll get the gist of what's happening. I realise the text is in dutch but I'm sure you'll manage. If you don't drop me a PM

that doesn't sound like it though. it sounds more like a hardware problem because the computer just wno't turn on. and sasser has these symptoms

* Your computer performance is degraded or your network connection is slow.
* You may see a dialog box with text that refers to LSASS.exe.
* Your computer may reboot every few minutes without user input.

which i don't have.
