yes, there is going to be a new production F150 SVT Lighting... and is going to kill the dodge SRT-10 Ram... (likely be close) its going to feature a 330 cid *5.4 Liter supercharged Iron block like the previous gen lighting.
it isnt going to come out in 2005... remember the GT? yes, its taking virtually all the resources of SVT currently to produce the supercar... sorta...
its a likely canidate for 2006. and a half, or 2007 with the new mustang cobra.

looks nice but YELLOW interior i mean YELLOW?!!? looks like someone pissed in it. i think the Dodge Ram SRT-10 will be better and faster but this looks slick and probably will be A LOT cheaper

yea i guess that makes sense i guess it will be unvieled around the same time as the new cobra, i would rather them take their time with it and give us a truck the will retain its crown.
good article i found on it

I always have a problem with these trucks.......clearly it's build for speed, but on the wrong platform. Would u prefer a truck like this or a sports car??
I am not dis-ing them, it's just make me curious coz whenever I see one on the highway, it rarely carries anything in the bed.

I agree with that. They are nice and fast, but I dont think I would ever choose one over a car. Im not really into trucks anyway and the only time I would consider buying one is if I had a race car to tow or needed one for some other reason.
I do like the "supercooler" thingy they have on the concept Lightning though. Using the air conditioner to chill some air for an additional 30hp I think it was. Well see if that makes it onto the production vehicle though.

Same as all the others. Big engine, lots of power, but will break down and cry like a baby at the site of a corner.
pick up trucks are for farmers
I couldn't have put it better myself.

In belgium you get tax reduction when you buy a pick-up ... and you don't have to pay annual taxes on the engine ... that could be one reason for buying such a powerfull truck ...

yes, truck arent purpose designed for handling..... i think the word 'duh' comes to mind. with that said, the new SRT-10 pulls .85g on the lateral, the old lighting pulled .82g
one thing these trucks do that sports cars dont is haul.... i have seen plenty of lighnings with full loads.... shit, they have 425 ft. lbs of torque! the SRT-10 ram has 525! thats as much as the diesel! and you have the range of going very fucking fast. the SRT-10 Ram has 0-60 in 5.2 seconds..... its a tie with the tank M5 for that time... and it maintains turnability.
these trucks are quite versital..... but id rather have a corvette. by the way, i drove my first one yesterday!
