Here are the other two:

2000W Saab 9-5 Aero - don't know them - cruising machine par excellence, and more torque than a Carrera 2 - 0-60 in 6.5, and 278lb ft of torque makes for a supreme overtaking machine.

1999T Jaguar XK8 4.0V8 - Ridiculous car, unreliable as hell, and while it's great to look at, it's dull as ditchwater to drive - all point and squirt, and while it'll go round corners quickly, it doesn't exactly make you feel enthusiastic about doing so, and the ASC cuts in far too quickly and sharply to spoil all the fun. What's worse is being 1800kg, and auto-only, it struggles to return much - our average for the past year has been 19.4mpg - nearly 3mpg worse than the TVR. Thank God I've persuaded the wife to ditch it! :P

And now the Jags going, and the TVR is here.... this'll have to go too! 8)

You bought the Chimaera to replace the Saab but the 9-5 is still there? :D SO basically you have a backup in case the TVR would turn you down ;) (I hope it won't)

Tha Jags aren't so bad. I know my mother has a 99 XK8, and while she did have to have an engine replaced (now has the 4.2 unit), that has been the only problem with her car. All under warranty, of course.

Compared to the older jags, which my family has had a history of, these Ford cars are hugely reliable. In high school I had an XJS V12... that thing was wonderful for the week of the month that it ran. :D

We're picking up a brand new shiny Saab 9-3 Aero convertible for her to pootle around it. She seems to have gone a bit crazy with the options list, so it's got 5-speed tiptronic auto (with steering wheel buttons), Sat-Nav, Xenons, Phone and Bluetooth, electric everything etc etc..... totally mad! I think it's only a question of holding a sweepstake on which bit of unneccessary kit will break first! :P
