that one? im not to familliar with TVR's cept for the Cerebra and the Tuscan. Judging from the Performance specs it seems a little off power but probably has the weightlessness to back up the power with speed (off the Sagaris by 50HP and this car looks a bit more blunt than the agressive look of the Sagaris. Also that is a Five Speed decreasing the freedom of the 6 Speed but all around its a nice car to look at.

wow, I love the look of that car!! Its so bad ass looking, and IN YOUR FACE! The rear-end is kinda iffy though, but im sure I would grow to love its uniqueness if I ever owned one.

Great pictures, but i already have them. I'm a huge TVR fan, i love this car. The same straight 6 from the Tuscan S, 400BHP. Autocar got 0-60 in 3.68 seconds with the Tuscan S. So i'm guessing this is 3.6 second rocket. Plus, TVR says this is there most aerodynamic car. This car will be awesome around the track.

The only things i like on this car are the rims, the lights and the interior if i really concentrate....

I think they went a bit over the top with the styling. They wanted to make it look too hardcore and it turned out to be a bit of a mess. A shame really :(
The new front is cool though.

Amazing car... Awesome from the front.
Very aggressive... The back side; not like very much but it is very different and radical changes were made; headlights, spoiler etc.
Absolutely awesome

The reason the wing is clear like that is so that during normal driving, or racing (which is where the Sagaris will probably be used most), there is still some rear vision to see the cars behind you. I rather like the Sagaris, even more than the T350. The T350 is beautiful and clean, and the Sagaris is just plain mean looking. The only problem I have with it is the rear diffuser and exhaust setup I suppose that was the only way to fit the mufflers and still maintain the short rear overhang, but they could've done it better. TVR has done strange things to the back end of cars before. Look at the Cerbera Speed 12 if you want proof.
this is the only TVR that i think they went to far with the looks.. its a bit too mad for me... with a bit of cleaner rear, and a normal roof.. it would have been much better IMO...

One of the best looking cars i've seen till you get to the back what is going on with that bumper!
I know what you mean, from some angles it looks just right, and from other, plane wrong!
As for the bumper, it has a lot to do with the exhaust. In order for them to get the noise low enough to pass EU regs, they had to have a certain length of exhanust. The result is that strange 90 degree bend in the exhaust.

jon_s has a point there Regulations for ALL countries have been a bitch lately and they even have had to stop some of the most beautiful cars like the Aston V8 Vantage man i did love that car with its Twin Supercharged V8... :o

Savage, I think it's not a car designe from humasn ,it's not a human car. It's so aggressive that if you'll have it in your rear view mirror, you'll risk to spin

I like the car Over all.. No problem.. But don't you think the HP number's are a bit low for supercars standard nowadays. :? Or maybe it's just me.

Don't like the rear specialy the rear wing??

what wrong with the gear stick?
do you mean this one here?
http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/9338/159932667.jpg
that's tvr's sequential gear stick (push for shifting up, pull for shifting down or vice versa).
however on other pics i've seen the sagaris with manual shift:
http://www.fast-autos.net/tvr/sagaris7.jpg
(actually all the cockpit looks different...)

They may seem low, but if you're concerned about speed, remember TVR's are weigh nothing.

Hell this car is 1 punk-ass ugly bitch. B.Engineering Edonis design applied to a TVR... its too extreme, only agression, no more beauty :( Ah well as long as they keep producing cars like the Tuscan i'll be happy :D

right, power by weight counts.
actually the amount of horsepower they sqeeze from their own six cylinder inline engine ("speed six") is quite high. 4 liters, 400hp. the bigger the engine, the less additional power you get. and remember, the engine is not turbo- or super-charged

I love the TVR because of the original look, and this car is one of the best examples. It's not elegant and at the same time sporty like a Ferrari 360, it's pure fury. The sound must be impressive like the look. And handling? I bet this won't be a car for sissies, it's so light and powerful and TVRs are known as demanding cars

Certain TVR's have a similar reputation to the AC Cobra, albeit not quite as bad. They are a car to be resected, they are superb cars. I just hope they don't get sold off to some company in the future.

i own an m3 e46 with this amazing sequential "smg ii" gearbox. if the tvr solution comes any close to this that would be my choice of sports car. manual shifting is nice, but once you get used to a sequential gearbox :P
i love the m3's non-turbo non-supercharged engine; i would say it's pretty comparable to a tvr speed six engine, by characteristics. the problem is that this car weights more than 1.5 tons, and this is where the tvr's shine. however, the m3 is a real every-day-car, i wouldn't trust in the tvr reliability to use it every day. the m3 is the perfect compromise for my needs. but the most recent tvr's are where my heart goes 8)

Ok, I think we are getting a little confused. The two pics on the previous page are of two (very special  ) TVR's The top pic with all the carbon is the TVR Typhon and the red/grey interior is the Sagaris.
The Typhon will cost £80,000 and will have the brand new geear box, which is quite special. [details below]. The body of the car will also be carbon fiber. The gear box comes standard. Oh and there is a 2yr waiting list!
The Sagaris is being produced as the basis of a race car for TVR. I don't think it will come with the sequential gear box as standard, but it may be an option.
Now for the gearbox! This is quite special. TVR have yet to patent the design. The gear box is a project that was started with the mighty Speed 12, which has been continued. It is a different 'style' of box compared to many. TVR have been cagey with what goes on inside. However, it has been developed from a race car, but turning a heavy, noisy race car box into a road acceptable one is no mean feat. I expect that it will be very good....it needs to be, due to the competition!

The car would get my kudos if they just removed that horrible bumber on the back of the car. It is a very busy car yet the lines are in my opinion very graceful yet intimidating. All except the random back bumper...does it have a trailer hitch on it or something? lol

I do certainly enjoy looking at the Sagaris. With the trend of designs recently to either swing ultra-sleek or retro, seeing something this utterly raw is a refreshing. The fact that a lot of the details are actually there for a reason, like the louvers over the front wheels, and that hatch in the front of the car. The interior is pretty sparse, but that's rather in line with the more recent Tuscans, it seems. If that sequential shifter works like they're hoping it will, it'd be a phenomenal car.
Of course, that rear bumper could use some work. I'm perfectly fine with the Kamm-style tail, and the Perspex spoiler, but that bumper.... It looks like something some enterprising kid might try to fashion over a missing bumper from parts bought at a local Home Despot (or a DIY of your choice). Never too late to say you're sorry, TVR!

well don't forget that TVR tend to weigh around 1000kg. That is 50% less than most "supercars"
So performance guaranteed!

TVRs are simply awesome!!!
i did a factory tour, and it's really incredible how they build their cars, all by hand. building a one off race car is one thing, but mass producing hand built tubular spaceframe cars is phenomenal.
their race car division is also right next to their factory. I got to watch the engineers prepare their le mans race car, its great how close the street version is to the race version.

ooo the people from blackpool do it again ;) Saw it at the 04 motorshow, I thought at first when I saw it in magazines that it does look a bit busy, but it looks so much better in real life, the lines flow real nicely. All those vents do have purposes - those above the wheelarches are there to reduce the high-pressure spots that develop around the wheels at high speed. And the ones above the engine remain shut unless the engine gets excessively hot (eg after a hard run) when they will open.
Read about the latest turbo charged TVR here:
