Well, I have two PS2 (NTSC and PAL), and a GameCube (NTSC US+JAP), as long as a DC I don't use anymore and still the old sweet psx...

It depends a lot, but the PS2 has more games I love, but the GC comes pretty close and some masterpieces like Zelda and the Resi remake are enough to buy it :)

i voted PS2

i also own a gamecube, which is also a sweet console, but as u saw in the other topic which asked what games we own,the only games i have for the cube is the resident evil ones,so thats the only reason i bought it really.but the PS2 has so many games, and i play that a bit more than the cube

i've got a PS2 and an Xbox, both rule. I have been thinking of buying a Gamecube, if it drops in price, i most likely will.

I use my computer for gaming. It costs me to much though. If you want gaming computer you need to spend lots of cash. Getting a new video card soon, a 9700 pro probably and thats about 500$CDN.

cho, I edited the poll, adding the PC since it seems there are many members playing exclusively on it :)

So PC players, cast your vote :D

I was a big Ps1 fan, i had three. Although when the Ps2 came out i wasnt going to be conned in. i pay $800! aus for my first PS1 and after a year or so they were worth $150. So i thought i would wait. Then the xbox came out and so i gave that a try and i dont look back, it dosnt have the varaity of games but the games that have been produced for the xbox are briliant. Such as halo, i play 8 player halo at my friends house with the two xbox's.

yeah i have played Final Fantasy from the very first one on the NES/Famicom. The only one i havent really played was the recent online version which doesnt interest me. And i have yet to find time to play X-2...but these games just seem to take longer and longer to finish...and time isnt what i have now that i work compared to when i was younger. My personal Favorite is Final Fantasy 6 (Jap)/Final Fantasy 3 (US). I think i finished that from start to finish 3-4 times. Those were the days.

you play on the emulators?
if im not mistaken the 2nd and 3rd games are for the gameboy. im not sure if you can get it online. But then again if you arent an old school gamer i dont know how much you would enjoy playing those version, cause they are really classics already in my opinion.

well, the final fantasy 6 i have is kinda old school.and i like it.

yeah i love the story in Final Fantasy 6. it was so advanced in its time. There were many firsts in that game. Very impressive. Can you play old gameboy games on advance? i taught you cant?

i played ff tactics on the PS last time. I dont really consider it a final fantasy game other than for the name cause it just a different genre. Its not my cup of tea, but you might like these sort of tactical games.

gis

yeah u can play the old games like off the game boy colour and stuff.

the ff tactics thats comin out is apparently a 4 player game,u can link 4 gameboys up and can all be on the same game.if thats true, that will b more interesting

I vote for the PS2 because of its sheer number of Japanese games. Then there are PS2 exclusive franchsies such as Final Fantasy and Winning Eleven that puts PS2 at No.1 on my list.

I used to be a PC gamer before but now I have two problems with PC gaming: 1) Keeping the comp up to date to play action games is expensive 2) there seems to be more variety of games for consoles.

Now I just use my PC to play strategy and simulation games.
