which supercar?

Well, the Carrera GT is an amazing car. A 5.7litre V10 with 600+ BHP. It sounds good and looks good. It is very tempting. BUT...my heart belongs to the 7.3litre AMG powered Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3.

I love the F50..and I think that's what I would choose. Either the F50 or the McLaren F1.

I say go with the Zonda :) The McLaren is an amazing car though. Beautiful and fast!

If I were limited to current production cars I would choose the
Pagani Zonda 7.3S, it has sleek beautiful lines, gut wrenching
performance, and great handling. But out of all supercars ever
built, there is simply one choice, the Mclaren F1. The Mclaren
is simply the best, that's all I can say. But the Pagani does give
the Mclaren a run for its money. :wink:

WOW well it seems like you all really like the McLaren F!. Personally I think it is a little ugly personally. One question about the F1: does it have a BMW engine even though it was owned by merc? Or didn' mercedes own them back then?

As far as i know McLaren wasn´t owned by MB, and yes, the F1 has a 6.1 L V-12 engine from BMW, made specially for the car by the M division of that car company.

And not just any V12.....a beauty of an engine...one of the best engines ever made, if I may say so. The engine is a quad cam, 48-valve, 6.1-litre BMW V12 engine with variable valve timing. It produces 627 bhp. The F1's engine uses competition inspired dry sump lubrication. It is a beast...a total beast!

The SLR is not going to be the best supercar, it may have a better interior than others or a recognised MB badge but cars like the Zonda S and Carrera GT are in another league.

Koenigsegg CCR, F50/Enzo, McLaren F1. Lister, Zonda.. well if i could choose one i'd probably take either McLaren or Enzo.. my girlfriend says she'd take deep black and shiny diablo :)

Well now that you have all said your opinion I will say mine. I would probably go for the Koenigsegg CCr or CC8S. But the real fact is that I would be incredibly happy with any supercar. :wink:
