Damn that E36 sounds good w/ a turbo. Thx a lot for the vid. Anybody know of any E46 M3's with a turbo yet?

Well I'm sure there are quite a few but I never saw a vid.. there is even a CSL Turbo now :D

Well my good friend has an 02 E46 M3 and I heard that the compression is so high already that it would be hard to put a turbo on it. If there are some out there, I can't wait to see one.

Of course there are some and they are owned by people that simply don't understand they already had one of the best NA engines ever produced.. or better one that is already at its limits... there is not much margin on that straight 6 and as we already discussed in the past, of course you can put one, but for sure you will need to do some more mods to make it work for more than 2 hours ;) and for sure, its life will become anyway MUCH shorter... my conclusion.. somebody putting a turbo on an E46, M3 or M3 CSL is simply dumb...

Exactly. . . unless you don't care about engine life.

It is the same thing with guys that soup up Civics, you know, all that money they put into the car they could've picked up something nicer.

But in this case, the guy wanted to be the only one w/ a Turbo M. I guess. . . :roll:
