hello all,

please help me find a turbocharger that fit the 1.6 liter VW 105HP . I know that it's a small engine (european). I've search at www.sandtler.de but they make turbo for VW G60 G40 engine ....
some Garett and KKK for new TDI, HDI engines but no turbo for the 1.6 liter engine.

Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

So if you still want to turbocharge it you will need to get new pistons (the most reliable solution) or you could try some humbo jumbo stuff with dobbel gaskets...(I would never have done that)

In addition to new pistons you will also need new injectors, a new exhaust manifoil new exhaust a new software a intercooler to improve the air/fuel mix temperature, you will also need to get a better oil cooler.
I think you also would have to consider changing the clutch, upgrading the brakes is something that should be done....

Best solution = buy a new engine. LOL

Yes you can turbo charge your car, however on stock internals you should not run more than 5-6 psi of boost and even this can be dangerous if you don't take precautions or your compression ratio is too high already.

However be very careful of your A/F ratio and make sure it will not go lean under boost. So unless your stock fuel system is up to the task you'll need to upgrade that. Also make sure you'll use only high octane fuel to prevent detonation.

And another thing don't just slap on a turbo, make sure that its compressor map matches the engines mass airflow properties. I can provide you with the necessary equations if you would like.
