I am going to see it in about 45 minutes and then after the movie has finished I will post my review of it later tonight. I already purchased advanced tickets isn't the net great? Every review is saying how fucking awesome it is, even Ebert and Roeper are giving it 4 stars, must be one hell of a movie and they are saying that it is better than the first one.

hmm...well I must say that I am a huge fan of Quentin Tarantinos work. But this movie is the worst I've seen from him. The plot is quiet interesting, there are cool fight scenes an that beutifully done anime in the middle. But it tends to get boring after ya see one lady beating the shit outta baddies for half an hour. She kills 30 of them and all of a sudden more jump out. Anyway, this doesn't stop me from wanting to go see the nest part of the film.

My review:

Uma Thurman is hot. KB2 has aspirations to plot, self-importance and non-violent/beyond-pure-style entertainment, which is slightly troubling. Still manages to pull it off better than any other mainstream movie out of Hollywood. Still great entertainment... don't expect anything of substance, just enjoy the ride.

Damn, I still haven't seen Vol. 1.

Will I be clueless and confused as shit if I just head out to the theater and watch it now?

Only thing that turns me off from these movies is the fact that Uma Thurman is fucking hagrid.

Just got back from seeing it about an hour ago. Not too bad of a movie and it ends the "Kill Bill" story/saga pretty well. Definitely worth a view.

I went and saw Vol 2 this morning and I must say it wasnt as I expected. It wasnt nearly as long as the first, only about an hour and a half and there wasnt a whole lot of action. There were some cool fight scenes but they tended to be pretty short and failed in comparison to the first. It was still pretty good but it was a lot more plot than action this time.

This movie is fantastic, it has all the qualities of a fantastic movie. It has evil characters, a once bad assassin who wants to do right, a child she never knew, lots of cool killings, drama, comedy, and the best woman/woman fight ever recorded on film. If you thought that Uma vs. Veronica in the first volume was great, this one is even better still. This movie proves that Tarantino is the finest quicky filmmaker in the past 20 years, only Stanley Quebric is better. No, one doesn't have to see the first volume first, but you should just because it is an awesome movie. Uma is so beautiful in this movie as well, plus you get to see lots of shots of her tits in tight t-shirts, bonus. BTW, stay until the credits finish as there is a special outtake of Uma from the first volume and you all will enjoy it. There is lots of stuff to pay attention to, just remember that Uma's character is the black mambo snake and that something happens, just try to remember that word, have fun at the movies.

I think tomorrow I will go and watch The Punisher.

i dunno about The Punisher, i heard it's kinda weak but that all i heard go see it for yourself. The actor playin him from what i've seen in preveiws looks kinda weak. The comic book was wikked and The Punisher looked massive.

Yeah but you just gotta love the fact that it's an R-rated Comic book action flick. And the reason for the R rating other than the "brief nudity and language" is "pervasive brutal violence" <---- you just gotta love that. Granted it doesn't make a movie but the reviews I've seen have said it was pretty good. MSN gave it the same rating (2 1/2 stars) as they did for Kill Bill Vol. 2....and THAt was a good film!

Ooooooh! Go-Go Yubari was just so kinky...

"do you want to screw me?" (stabs the guy in the crotch)
"or is it I who has penetrated you?"

sad that she says Ferraris are trash...but then again, it's just the script

Kill Bill...best movie ever. Quentin Tarantino...one of the most brilliant out there...

Are the age limit really inforced to the point where it is a problem to go and see a movie when you are 2 years to young????
I always used to buy a ticket for one movie and then go into another. Sometimes they check tickets at the entrance when the movie just came out, but right after it starts they usually leave. I really need to see KB 2. I hear that it doesn't have as much action as the first. Hopefully the plot makes up for it.

I saw it today, was pretty good. I hadn't seen the first one, but decided to see the second. Even without seeing the first one i was pretty aware of what was going on. That seen with Daryl Hanah was awesome. She steps on her eye ball :D

Haha, nasty

*shrug* - movies don't do much for me these days.

I just don't like giving my money to the entertainment industry I guess.. ;)

And it is actually quite refreshing to go some place and hear all the "OMFG - did you see so-and-so in that movie..." - and then you go "Nope - why?"

Some people actually get offended that one has not "kept up with the entertainment Jones"... :P

I saw vol 2 yesterday. I really liked it, great "second half", but I think quite different from the first one, and as you say less action.

Btw, Vol 2 is actually longer than the first, and closer to two and a half hours; vol 1=111 min, vol 2=136 minutes).
