I was looking for some information about internal engine wear for a presentation at the university

Specifically about:

-Fretting
-Scratching
-Engine corrosion (hot and cold)
-Scuffing
-Fatigue
-Pitting
-Cavitation
-Gear wear due to friction

Hope someone can help me out here, I´ve searched the net and have found only very little info about it. Thanks :D

And you are interested in all that only related to Porsche?

hmmm, i think i´ve some professional journals on that topic in english, but most of my stuff is in german, so sorry but i´m afraid i can´t help you out ´cause i won´t have the time to translate everything, but there´re many students here on JW with english as their mother language, so maybe you can ask them as well...

btw, it´d have been better to post a a more common section, like "car chat" ....

hello mr. sled
i´m afraid it is true  :P , maybe you should check out my section here, especially "Porsche news" pages 9 & 10 i believe, there you´ll find a full report...
if you like you can also check my gallery for some pics...
so, i personally haven´t driven an Enzo ( yet... ) but i know quite some things about the comparison Enzo vs. CGT, there´ve been a comparison in Leipzig when mr. schumacher ( CEO of Infineon Germany ) lent his Enzo to Porsche Leipzig to compare it with the CGT....
but as i said b4, you´ll find all the infos in "Pn"...
but if you ask me now, YES, it´s definitely in the same league...
