Opera House(its even more beautiful inside. It is considered to be the second best opera house in the world)That leaf on top is gold.

Well its a City :wink: Its a very busy city. I guess the photographer chose the quite times to take pictures...it doesnt look to good with lots of people.

Its a fairly big city, population just shy of 1million.

Very pretty, I like the old buildings. The city seems to be littered with historical landmarks. How old is the city?
Also, is there a meaning behind the crying lion statues?

The city is exactly 754 years old.

Yeah there is a meaning behind the lions. Danylo Halicki the king of the land at the time(hard to right down the name in english lol) named the city in honour of his son Leo. So it was called City of Leo...and from that came Lviv.
