Nothing new or exciting but I thought I would post them anyway :) I'm still learning the camera but I’m reasonably pleased with these images.

I was taking another photo and heard these swans flying over. I had little time to prepare - one photo and they were gone.

Whilst walking back I saw this Heron and at first I thought it was plastic (We don't get many around these parts) I had put my camera away and so was rushing to get my equipment and the shot in time. Unfortunately the background isn't great but the blurring rescued it a little

Sure some perfect pics! Even if I'm a noob ;) what kind of lense did you use for those pics?

The lens used was a Canon 28-135 IS (Effectively 48-216 on the 10D)
Once I get my 75-300 lens (120-480) i'll be able to take better closer shots :)

Awsome quality and subjects. What type of camera do you have? I am looking a new one.

I'm happy with the photos but was limited with the small zoom on that lens.

LOL – I'm flattered
There are too many sceptics on this Forum ;) :P ..... and LOL @ that book– is it genuine ????
Yeah I took the photos myself and my name is Peter Harrison, do you really think I'd post photos with someone else's name on them :)
Thanks for your encouragement, I'm really putting a lot of effort this year into leaving my 9-5 office job to become a Professional Photographer – My website and business cards will be available soon :D
Some more non-wildlife photos :)

Yes it would have be quite a dumb mistake to forget to crop the name out of the pics...
But it's quite strange that book, the author having the same name as you and about birds too :)
BTW, that red lion house is very nice indeed!

They are indeed the best amateur photos I have ever seen with a digital camera...and not just by a little but by flipping miles. The quality is outstanding.
I cant wait until you post some car photos up.... it looks like salegosse better watch out !!

I agree with Jabba. I apologize for doubting you for even a second, I hope you can understand that the subject matter of your pics (sea birds) and the book were a little too close for comfort lol
Oh, and there is another photographer going by your name:
http://ozimages.com.au/PWS.asp?MemberID=1197, but he is from Australia lol

I dont think there was any "doubt" but just some general "confusion".
So basically we can conclude that evey P. Harrison has to become a photographer :D
