Its a 1981 Delorean DMC-12. I have owned it for about 6 years. Not my daily driver. Just take it out on nice days and to car shows. Gets lots of looks. Photo taken from deck of my house. I thought this was unique way to look at the car.

I love the DeLorean as many others, thanks to Back to the Future :D

Now we need some more shots of it ;)

Not the best looking car,,,but definitely a car that people have grown to like. DOC

Lovely car. does yours have the Volvo engine or the other engine they came with? is yours a manual or auto?

A very popular rumor is that there were different engines but its not the case. Delorean cars only came with one engine, a 2.8 PRV V-6. Volvo did use a version of this engine, but its not an exact match. My car is a manual shift. During the development of the car, different engines were considered including one from Citroen. This is probably where that rumor comes from.
