He'd be hurt the whole season...he played 39 of 82 games this season. Phili has a great team...i don't think he would make or break their chances at this years cup.

yes i knew that :D didn't think anyone would noticed, but i guess i was wrong

as you may know, toronto lost, but in my prediction they will win in 6 so they have to loose 2 games :d

and 1 more thing it is Chanukah with a C and no O,

you obviously have no idea the type of impact player he is. its unfortunate that he a weakness for concussions, heck it runs in the family his brother had to retire early due to the same reason. Eric has just been lucky. and i think he would give that extra goal or assist that might be needed to win the cup.

but Philly is doing good and did win tonight, so well see what happens, just hope Lindros comes back next year.

No doubt thAT HE IS AN IMPACT PLAYER...but it's hard to have an impact when your in the stands! No need to explain the Lindros story to me.

Lindros back with Phili?? HA
Do you remember a guy named BOB CLARKE? IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! NEVER! Lindros' parents have been way to involved and have tried to control overthing since he was in junior.

""""" November 14, 2001

NEW YORK (AP) - Philadelphia Flyers GM Bob Clarke wants to put his feud with Eric Lindros in the past, but not before issuing more parting shots.

The pair split when Clarke finally traded the former Flyers captain to the New York Rangers this summer. The fight goes on. Clarke was at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night to watch the Flyers take on the Rangers for the first time with Lindros. He claimed the Philadelphia organization buckled under a barrage of insults from Lindros and his parents.

"We put up with it for eight years," Clarke said, "and what you know is not very good and what you don't know is way worse. There is way more of it.

"I hope it goes to bed, but we'll fight back. We are not going to be pushed around by his family. I won't initiate it. Maybe after tonight everybody will get on with their lives."""""

Other headlines " Clarke vs. Lindros: No forgiving, no forgetting" , "Clarke says Lindros' father not welcome" -- just remember that his father is his agent.

Hey! Just because you go around a racing circuit slower than anyone else, and ruin your car/tyres in the process, doesn't mean it's now fun! Oh! Wait.... :fist:

I also dislike hockey, and I have to live in a nation of hockey-obssessed people. Oh well...

i love how there is like 5 different fights going on in this 1 thread

but hockey is a good sport, no other sport allows their players to get into a big brawl and don't do anything. in football or basketball if you get into a fight it is a 1-2game suspension at least, in the nhl if you don't cross the line it is 5 min in the box.

and hockey is the only sporting event i have been in that you can get into or watch a fight after the game :D

and what sport do you enjoy watching or playing? basketball, football, baseball? none of those 3 sports i just mentioned take much skill at all, but they do have one thing in common all the "STRAIGHT" guys like patting each others asses. i dont care how good my teammate is doing i sure as heck aint touching his ass. you must be one of those "STRAIGHT" guys.

There are only 3 recognised sports in the civilized world - Rugby, Soccer anf Cricket - in that order... ;)

(Maybe Aussie rules for the toughest of the he-men out there).

Rugby - because each team only consists of 15 players - not 437 - and they DON'T wear pads

Soccer - because they don't stop every 8 seconds to have a fucking rest...

Cricket - because you haven't been exposed to true danger, until a 6ft 8" Jamaican takes a running start, and bounces a 105mph rock-hard ball straignt at your head....

:D

You made my day! I love adam sandler. Almost all of his movies make me break down in laughter. I remember the very old cds he made where he made jokes. Like beatings of high school spanish teacher or biology and stuff

i only spoke about basketball, football and baseball since those are the ones that people usually claim to be oh so great.

But remember that is only true for the USA - the rest of the world really does NOT like Hockey and Football - Baseball is so-so and Basketball is probably the most popular of the Yank-sports... ;)

aswell that hockey is played in the Olympics unlike american football is, so there must be a demand for it world wide, heck there is more of a demand for ballroom dancing, and curling then football world wide.
