I am still trying to figure out the motivation to buy a 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 seater unless your have that many folks in the family...

(not directed at Zonda ;) )

I am amazed at how people will willingly spend hard earned money to simply go ahead and pidgeon hole themselves into mediocrity.

I mean mini-vans and such like are no cheaper, and most cases are more expensive that equivalent exciting cars.

I wonder what goes through ones mind when they are at the dealer (especially if they are not paying cash) and they sign over $35,000 to drive home in a bland, boring, mediocre slush bucket. ;)

I have gone to car dealers and walked around looking interested and when the salesman comes up and gives me the "The Toyota Sienna is the blah blah blah " pitch I will answer something along the lines of "I had no idea there were this many faceless numbers in the world - I mean who else would actually buy this?"

:D

1990? WOW that's a while ago. For this van 1990 + 14 works.

Need the space for 6-7 ppl and sports equipment. I assume that's why many people buy vehices like this.

Kinda makes sense - although I would still rather spend $20,000 on a slightly used Lexus IS300 and make the other 3 walk..... ;)

Heehe, my mom had to buy a Renault Grand Espace ;) her, her husband (pretty high and big overall) and just 3 children, but you have to see their luggages when it comes to go to the sea or the mountain :D

Very nice MPV. The steering wheel is just like that of the Protege and RX8. I always wondered how people in the market for cars like this decided between an SUV and a van. I would rather have a SUV of course but I guess most guys would.
