Hey guys, my stang has fuckin ugly "Turbine" rims on it, and I want to get some new ones on it. I would preferably like to get some nice 17" 5-spoke rims, possibly something like the Cobra or Pony rims you see on a lot of stangs. I know the Cobra rims are 5-stud, but not sure about the ponys. I was wondering if you guys know of any nice 4-bolt rims that I can pick up used since I dont have that much money to spend. thanx.

well ive seen some adapters to the 5 bolt to the 4 bolt, so u can just buy the 4 bolt and put the adapter, ive seen them at a store, so i cant tell u a site, but there out there...

wouldnt that cause the rims to be sticking out a bit tho? I dont want to totally convert over to 5-bolt because I want to keep these stock rims as winter rims, and also the brakes are new and I dont want to replace the discs or drums either.

a lot of the import rides have four bolts, so im sure there are some choices out there for 17s. maybe not in a 5.0's width though.....ebay is a good choice to look, maybe some mustang forums will be helpful too....

As always if you can go to car dumps (I don't remember the exact name) maybe you'll find some rims that work just fine and have 4 bolts.
And as HardcoreSRT4 says, look in ebay, etc., but they could be a little more $$
In my country are some smalls shops that trade, sell and buy used rims, so start your search for those kinda shops

good luck

they will stick but very little, and u dont convert it, u just put on the adapter and u can take it off when ever u want to, do u understand how the adapter fits?

I can sorta picture it... like another hub that bolts onto the 4-bolt hub. Then u bolt ur rims onto that.

Yeah, I checked on E-Bay, and they have a bunch of nice Cobra-R rims that are 4-bolt and fit the 6th gen stangs. They are like $470US for a set, but the problem is I dont know how much the shipping will cost. They say $20 for all of the US, but Im in Ontario, so it will cost more, and i'll need to pay duties on it. Anyone have any idea how much that would be? Or should I just look for a set already in Canada? I looked on Canadian E-Bay, and its a POS. everyone is selling the turbine rims i already have on the car. lol, but If you know a good Canadian dealer pleas let me know. thanx

The rims I want are OEM Cobra-R 17" Silver Replica rims with the 4 lug by 4-1/4" pattern. I need to find a dealer in Ontario, even used ones would be good. anyone?
