Yeah that was a awesome race, Lucky that jaguar was not behind the Mclaren when it decided to become a dragon.
Schui won again, the other teams are probably starting to plot kamazaki missions to run him of the track. lol.
raikonen is havin a shit season.
but as i said in the other topic,my respect for schumacher as a driver and a person has increased a lot today

it made my heart sink to see both mclarens go down like that. you gotta feel for them both i mean, coulthard is in a make-or-break season and his car can't take the pressure. kimi, a former champion hopeful, was tipped to beat michael to the ship this season and his team has yet to give him a car that can finish a race. i mean, he hasn't even completed HALF a race worth of total laps YET this season. it's a shame since just a few months ago he was just shy of being the champ. FUCK i really hate mclaren for all this. what's really raising my eyebrows now is the BAR honda team. both guys put up good qualifying times and positions and then fight at the top during the whole race, the team must be REEEEEEEEEALLY upbeat after all the rapid success it's having this season. and how bout that button character. two weeks ago everyone was celebrating him achieving something he hadn't managed to do in 4+ years and 60 some odd races, and then he goes and gets his second consecutive podium on a brand new track. i'd be beaming ear to ear if i were associated with him and his team, that's just great news. as for ferrari, other people might be getting bored with their dominance but i love every bit of it.
as for the coverage, i wouldn't mind living in the UK right about now, SPEED channel's coverage and commentary is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO horrifically lame i just wanna yank my ears off, and i WOULD but then i need them to hear the sounds of the cars during the rare occaisions where the commentators actually shut the fuck up for more than the duration of a breath.
my name is kimi raikkonen, and i hate my team.

The ITV highlights show is coming in the next hour or so geek...and rather than feel sorry for mclaren...I couldnt stop laughing when their engine exploded....and then DC just seemd to give up...LOLZZZZZ

This is not the first season those Mercedes engines keep blowing up. These things have blown up for seasons in a row, but this time they're overdoing it. I'm not sympathetical towards McLaren either. Ron Dennis is an ass for as far as I'm concerned and their strategies are usually very uncreative to say the least. Raikkonen is OK (except when he needs to speak into a microphone) and very talented, but I couldn't care less about DC. So although there are a lot of hardworking people in the McLaren team that deserve better, I still couldn't help smiling when I saw that Silbertorch.
The race was quite good I think. I for one never get bored of seeing the Ferraris win. The Jaguars and BARs took most credit for turning it into an enjoyable race. Button's second third place and Sato's fifth were great. Sato's actions on track were wonderful and Klien was also driving with teethmarks in his steering wheel.

Ron Dennis apparently complained to ITV about their commentators referring to mclaren having trouble with their engines during the qualifying session.
Talk about getting owned after todays pyro-technics display....or I guess that was our lieing eyes and the jaguar didn't nearly get fried by one of his POS cars.

They put out the flaming Mclaren out too early - it would have made a great barbeque pit there - Shish Kabab a la Mclaren
My heart goes out to Kimi! Maybe they should bring back the veteran - MP17D - at least it will last to the end of the race
Wonder if JPM is kicking himself for commiting himself to Mclaren too early - he may be better off in the Williams..
Another crappy drive by Ralfie boy! He made as many mistakes as the rest of the 19 contendors put together :!:

Are you sure you are watching speed? We got the best commentators here. David Hobbs!!!!Steve Machet!!!! Lame? You are probably the only person in the world that finds them lame. I just love them, I think they are the best commentators out of all now...
And if you find them lame, you should here the canadians on TSN. Now thats fucking lame.

My race stars were : BAR. They had an absolutely blinder. If only Ralf hadnt made Taku a victim of his mispalced aggression! Imagine that, a Ferrari 1-2, followed by a BAR 3-4. If only. I though tthe race was pretty exciting, with the exception of Ferrari runnign away with it (then again, i didnt complain too much when JPM beat them all to next week at last year's German GP).
ONe thing though : Michelin are struggling in their 'favoured conditions' - Hot. This worries me, with the european season coming soon.

Nice race.
2 bad it looks like Schumi will be Champion in the middle of the season. No real competition for him in this race. McLaren really should bring last years car.
But I'm happy it happened to Montoya :) overwice he would say that Barrichello was slowing him down when he was racing with Michael :)
And Bar is really good. 2 podiums in a row :)

ouch another ferrari 1-2, cant say i dont like to see ferrari win, because both drivers deserve it but honestly, they are like the yankee's of F1, put in the most money and win the most. Also who wouldnt want to see any of the underdogs win i like that toyota and BAR are having stonger results this year.

well i don't mind seeing schumacher win every single race this season. and yes that engine blow was spectacular. next year in melbourne or the indy car race in gold coast, they should replace the jets with mclarens blowing up!

I just added you to the download group...
Once again, seeing Kimi have to walk away from his car, after the engine exploded, was the highlight of the race. BAR is doing a great job, and Williams is flat out disappointing. I just do not see McLaren improving anytime soon, thier car is just pathetic. I could see them going back to the MP418 mid season if they just cant get to finish any races. Who wouldave thought this couldave happened after they had all of britain behind them in claiming that this new car was the "most important car period", if anyone can remember the countless headlines in autosport, F1 magazine and so forth. Better lick next year..
Jabba, I was curious if the F1 race would be open to the general public, becuase unfortunately all i have seen is highlights and Id love to see the race.

Man that shummy is running like a swiss watch!! 3 in 3.
I'm a big tifosi of the scuderia ,but this kind of domination is boring at times, but not complaining on the results though.
I'm sure shummy is gonna win again this year. he has no competition what so ever

Ferrari are VERY strong right now but as the teams start with major revision over the european races I'm sure we'll see some closer battles. Honda and Renault were throwing down some very good laps and I can't wait to see how fast the Renault will be with the upcoming performance upgrade package at Imola! I feel bad for McLaren but mosltly Kimi! Holy crap is he revving into 20,000 rpm's or what?!? His engine blew in the first 2 races, during the practice in bahrain, and in the race only a few laps out! If I were Kimi next race I would drop my rev limiter by about a grand just to make sure I can get past lap 7.

LOL i just did a moron paste, read all the way to the end of the page and saw then typed a questioned to Jabba about the full length vid. anyways i guess the question was answered on the second page that its in the download club section *sigh* how i miss my membership to that; any chance Jabba or TT you guys could review me again? thanks =( .
Sadly as it was already discussed, it's not very wise to provide full race coverage since FIA sure doesn't like that. The first one was probably the last one posted here.

I like speed alot, i think its more exciting with steve matchet gets excited when somethngs happens. They always explain what happened after. I like when david hobbs gets excited, like when ruebens passed a slower can on the outside of a tight corner...."WHOOAAA not there ruebeeno" haha. Its funny when STeve matchet gets excited about mechanical parts of the car...Like the brakes glowing, that you could see threw. "WHHOA LOOK AT THOSE BRAKES GLOWWW" He knows his stuff as well.
About the race, i could not believe what happen to kimi. Also, it was a very exciting race, lots of battles between about p13-p3. i felt bad for montoya as well. The car sounded like shit towards the end.
Sadly as it was already discussed, it's not very wise to provide full race coverage since FIA sure doesn't like that. The first one was probably the last one posted here.

the ITV coverage was the best i had seen ever. Speed sucks large, they arent even at the race, just at some studio in the US. so they are at a handicap to TSN who at least has their announcers at the race! but i enjoyed the ITV coverage the most. the race i thought was fantastic. a very good circuit IMO. fast with lots of oportunity to show how good a driver and his car can be. and that long start finish straight.... :D fantastic and the best race so far this yr i say 8)

Speed Channel's commentary is fine, but I wish it would just be Hobbs and Matchett, although I think their overall coverage is lacking. From what I've seen on Jabba's digitized ITV races, their Pre-race and Post-Race analysis is far superior to Peter Windsor's pre-taped segments, and the taped post race coverage three to four hours later on Speed News Sunday . I think just the fact that the ITV crew is actually at each race is awesome. So that every race is equivilent to Speed's coverage of the USGP last year.
Speaking of ITV coverage Jabba, are you going to be posting Bahrain or is it no n00b's allowed at this point?

mclaren better get their act together or atleast bring out last year's car. They prolly will have better luck you know actually getting points witha car that, well, drives.
