first off, i'd like to apologise for my absense due to the hectic schedule i have now. No time for much.

Anyways, I'm planning to leave my 560SL in the garage. Its beginning to be a pain to maintain, It seems all the money i make is going into the car. So i'm debating whether I should get roughly 2000 Nissan Maxima or a 2000 Lincoln LS because those two cars are not too expensive, comfortable, and beginning to be very affordable. I'd like to hear some insights. Should I keep my 560 or option for one of the 2 cars i suggested? if so which one?

if anyone has any other ideas on better cars. i'd welcome suggestions. =)

of those two, id strongly suggest the lincoln ls with the optional 3.9L v8... its a reliable, and multi-platform chassis that is also used on the jag's and T-bird.

for many years, even before the new VQ engine. the maxima has won many awards for best engine of the year.

they have a sllick se version which packs a punch. i actually like the 2000 style more than the current maxima.

I would of course recommend an E38 7 series or E23 7 series, since they are much better driver's cars (so the cosensus goes, i think), and also just as pricy to maintain and put right. (=

well she runs properly... its the stupid little things that break.. for instance... passenger side seatbelt. haven't given anyone a ride for like 2 months. Which is a good thing! but not when it comes to chicks... ugh... i mean girlfriend. =)

Dammit SPEED, i'm disappointed in you. :lol: This is the best reply you could think of? :) If Yellow_Rice needed a tank, he wouldnt have bought a 560 SL in the first place. He would've bought the old shape S-Class. now THAT's a tank. LIterally and metaphorically speaking.

btw, the other car in my household is a pathfinder armada. that's a tank.
