Bahrain GP

Now, this should be a very interesting GP as this is going to be the first race ever on the track, it is going to be sandy, and the winner is going to be the team and driver who can come up with the fastest research and proper set up of a car in 3 days. Should be a sweet race, but why are they having a race in Bahrain, there is absolutely nothing for the drivers to do there at all, they are even being warned not to go into the city, Manama.

They cannot even celebrate with champagne because they don't want to make anyone who is Islamic mad, that is so stupid, it is not our fault that they believe that way, pretty stupid to me to live your life a certain way because you have to follow what a book says, most retarded thing ever. Religion is to help guide you, as is every fairy tale, but to live your life by a book, absolutely ridiculous, but those are just my fellings. They should move the race to Dubai, at least there one can drink alcohol. or they should have a race in Portugal or somewhere else.

have you ever been to Dubai u can only drink alcohol in hotels and private places, most public places do not serve alcohol, and what is the difference this is a GP race not some sort of lets pick on the culture get to get-together

If people in religion knew what they were talking about, I am talking about the high people in one's religion who ever they are, they would ban smoking and not alcohol as smoking gives people more diseases and kills more people than alcohol does by far. Toronto, if you went to a GP as a spectator wouldn't you want more to do than just sit in your hotel room and then when you go out for dinner, you can only have water, milk, or juice with your meal.

About the Bahrain GP...

I am praying (shit, i meant to avoid the religion thing), that this turns out to be a good race. The track was designed to be a Formula One track, and if Formula One can't put on a good show, then it's hopeless. What I'm saying is that F1 needs this track to bring excitement to the sport, to prove that they are trying to cater to the fans desires.

It should be a decent race, as none of the drivers have ever been there before. None of the teams know anything really about the track other then what they have seen in pictures or drawings. Here is what Shumacher said about the track:

“I am very curious. It is a new race on a new track and in a different climate. I like visiting new places and coming into contact with new cultures, even if we are not always able to totally understand everything about them. In any case, travel is always something that enriches the soul.

“In Sepang I hoped to bring home six or maybe eight points. We knew that it would have been a difficult race and so the eventual victory was even better. We know it will be a hot race in Bahrain. We shouldn’t forget that it was cloudy in Malaysia and if the sun had come out, things would have been even harder. The real worry in Bahrain is the sand. We are all concerned about it and how much the sand will condition the performance of the engine. I am quite confident, though.

“Taking on a new track is always exciting, though no more than difficult than driving one that you know well. The computer simulations really do help in giving us an idea of the set up we will need. It is important to remember that every time we take to the track, we have a different set up depending on the temperature, the weather and the track surface. well when i went to the UAE the only race i saw was a horse and camel race and i think beer would really of helped me there, but i don't enjoy drinking at sports events, not even at a leafs game when everyone even the 12 yearolds r drunk/ i don't like it, i really don't like in your face public drinking, at bar yes i get a coke with a shot glass or a small drink on the rocks, but that is more casual with friends in a close setting much like a hotel resturant in the UAE :D, but i am very upset with the lack of pit girls in the GP race :D

Bahrain....lets just say the conditions might be a lil similar to Malaysia(the heat with less humidity) and F1 Racing Magazine stated that the course would be the grippiest track due to specific rocks they used to make the road. Sand will be an issue, but not as much as people think it is. Let's just hope there isn't a sandstorm this Friday-Sunday. Now I can't wait till the Shanghai Race! By the way, those two tracks were designed by the same person.

it will really be interesting race this weekend for sure. will have to see which team will pull it off :D ....w/ those HP on those cars and driving on sand w/ that kind of speed, it sucks, not to mention the temperature will not be comfortable at all :roll:

Well I just saw the weather forecast for 4/4 and they are expecting a thunderstorms.. So this might be intresting to watch.... I really want to see how well Ferrari will do in this track as it is the first time for them to race in it and so little time to prepare :D .

Ill have to wait till I see practise to guage wat type of track it is, racing wise. Besides the sand, causing hickups with engines I dont see it as anything more impressive esp cause its an unknown track. It doesnt have a history like other tracks on the calendar so just have to wait till sunday :)

The circuit is in the middle of nowhere, and i don't see the point of the "gravel", there shouldn’t be any because if a car goes out of track it would go straight in the desert and stop sooner or later :D .

When it's raining the cars create a lot of spray, so will the sand have the same effect and when the cars are doing 300Km/h is it going to the a "sand spray"????

well imo it should be a very intresting race to watch, baring in mind soo many factors, that are going to fuck the teams up something cruel!!!
then there is tyre choices, sand, tuning omgggg
