View Full Version : [Videos] Z06 and Viper SRT-10 action
Keeping it in the forum where people are interested in real cars... ;)
The videos were encoded with LSX MPEG4 codec - reducing file sizes from 144MB to 79MB and from 78MB to 49MB respectively.
So I have now uploaded one, and linked another video to the JW Video Vault.. hopefully they will meet specs and be available tomorrow. If not - I will post links to the files off JW.
This is from the First one:
49mb ZIP file of Saturdays Hooters Run Video - (12 Mins) <-- In the JW Vault now (http://www.jabbasworld.net/dload.php?action=file&file_id=485)
http://www.z06vette.com/gallery/data/500/3648Z06_street_fun.jpg
And these are from the second one:
79mb ZIP file of Sundays Golf Day Run Video (20 mins) (http://media.rc45.net/media/2004_Z06_Golf_Day_small.zip)
http://www.z06vette.com/gallery/data/500/3648Z06_Golf_Day1.jpg

I see video in the subject line along with "Z06" and "Viper" and I get all excited.
LOL, looking forward to the vids :D
Ah what the hell - updated with the links to the videos... if they end up in the vault as well, that'll be cool - in the mean time - here's the action... ;)

hey rc I dl them but I can't view it's telling me it's corrupted, ? What type of player do I need I have divx and some encoders, and all the new versions, of the players.
Did you use the LSX MPEG4 player that was included in the zip file? I used LSX, because it halved the file size compared ti DiVX 5.1
I can understand folks not being comfywith runnign an executable included ina zip file - so here is the link to the LSX download page - just grab the free player.

I can't remember how long the Ligos LSX demo player lasts - but search around - I know someone has a codec pack that includes all their shit as well.

Good stuff RC. That Z of yours sounds mighty healthy. Those Borlas were singing. :D :D
I miss the days of going out with the Vettes and a bunch of friends. Now I do it on the bike.
That reaction you had to the Ford hatchback was priceless. I have been there far too many times.
Maybe I missed something, but why the hell did you turn your wipers on?
That LEO had you on the brakes hard. :D
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

Yeah - I find it easier to be camera-car vs camera-bike though.. ;)

Yeah, I saw him coming from 3 lanes across, so I gunned it on purpose to see how stupid he/she/it was - believe it or not -the dumbass made the next left turn..

Both days we had a little rain  - You haven't had fun until you push high hp RWD's in the raiin... :D
You see how he hit us with the radar - after we slowed? He let us go - because he must have heard/seen the red 427 Z06 (which puts 555rwhp down btw) and the Viper (running headers) from a ways off and just couldn't have been bothered....

Nice vids, I could listen to the soundtrack all day long. The red Vette sounds insane, when does your 427 come in? It sounded like your radar detector was going off for the hooters girl lol. Shit started beeping as she walked towards your car. I wonder what kind of "fuzz" detection you have that thing set too.
Screw apples! A V8 a day will keep the doctor away. Thanks for sharing the vids :D

That is what I keep telling my wife "Honey, I don't get the flu because I drive a hi-po V8 like a mofo everyday..." ;)

That silver Z06 in the second pic down is fuckin spot on! Just the right ride height and i love those rims! What other mods has that guy dun?
IMO the standard Z06 sits waay too high, although i spose lowering would sacrifice your front splitter!

Great vids. Thanks. I like watching simple highway runs. BTW That V8 of your has a very nice note. Not like the V8 trucks I hear out there on the street. The z06 does not have that much annoying rumble. It is more Nascar like.
