Fan of '03 Cobra & SVT Cobra...pretty sweet cars, esp '03 Cobra when moded.

take an 03 mustang cobra
remove the supercharger
basically turn it into the ford racing 4.6
remove the suspension/shocks/sway bars

holy crap.... over 1 g laterally, and over 400 hp N/A

They are Ok cars , the Cobra is surely a classic , but the saleen is just not ok ... cant outperform the rivals and its the same price ( carrera gt , mc merc )

Uhh considering the S7 cost about half as much, its not in their bracket.

i am unfamiliar with an MC merc...... however, the saleen and rouch variants compete against things like linginfelter variants of the T/A and Camaro more then anything. perhaps the S351 competes against a 911 turbo for accelleration with decent handling (is it possible to beat porsche suspension setups with a highly modified mustang... i dont think so)...

SVT Cobra R was a true track beast. Too bad they stopped. The Saleen S7 is the first American super-car which can compete with the horses and bulls since the GT40 which road version was made because of the FIA requirements.
