Is it true that there is a very small number of M7's in production? A dealer told me that it was very low key but there are a very small number of them in the U.S.

No it's not. The only M in production now is the M3 Coupe and Cabriolet.

I heard in 2003 of a possible future BMW M7 with a V12 of +700HP . But, I never saw official confirmation from BMW Motorsport GmBH that it was in production. Nevertheless, you can get the BMW G-Power G7 7.1 (530HP) or the Alpina BMW B7 (500hp).

I found the article that I had read last year. This is really not confirmed by BMW Motorsport GmbH.

OMG that looks bad. That is a 100% photoshopped img. Not even well done so nothing even close to official. BMW are, however, introducing a lot of new numbers to their line. The 4 series are supposed to come according to CAR and DRIVER magazine.

Why the hell would BMW use altezza taillights. That would go againest everything BMW. it looks horrible like that, the gap inbetween wheels, and the wheel wells is way to small, looks like some ricer made this one. Suprised theres no 3 foot wing, and a 5 inch exhaust.

Look at the front wheel well; it is polygonal. The turn signal repeater is the body colour. The front wheel is exactly the same as the rear. LMAO

Even the BMW G-Power G7 V12 7,1-liter 530hp seems to be Photoshop. But this one is more succeeded.

wasn't this discussed somewhere in the forum b4? Someone said BMW would never produce an M7 as far as they're concerned. The Schintzer S7 on the other hand...

Are they ever goin to make a new M roadster after the new Z4? It would be interesting to see a Z4 with the 3.2 inline 6 with over 300 hp.

Bah ... all those photoshoped cars looks very bad , they should hire our photoshops experts . I bet they can fool all of us by photoshoping a car and putting it in the news section

what would be the purpose of 700hp in a full sized sedan like that? The m5 is perfectly matched, big enough to do everything you need to do, in comfort, and fast enough to handle all your fast-car needs, tight enough to handle as well as most would like. make the car bigger and faster, not the best idea? I couldnt imagine who would even want an M7 with 700hp.

New M7 from G-POWER
Text & photos courtesy G-POWER GmbH

G-POWER G7 7.1 - HIGHLINE - with 530 hp, 740 Nm and 315 km/h
530 PS and 740 Nm for the BMW 760i from G-POWER
Aerodynamic package G7 HIGHLINE
Stainless steel exhaust system, lowering, light metal rims, braking system and leather interior
The new seven series in M-Format from G-POWER catapults the new BMW 760i with the G-POWER G7 7.1 engine into the highest performance category of its class. With 530 PS / 390 kW and a maximum torque of 740 Nm the modified luxury liner accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.0 seconds and can reach speeds as fast as 315 km/h.

The G-POWER’s cubic capacity has been expanded to 7.1 litres with a new handcrafted crankshaft, modified engine block, several bores and forged pistons. It costs 35,000.00 €. Of course this package includes a modified engine-control system to ensure a perfectly smooth performance. Additionally, the G-POWER stainless steel high performance exhaust system comes with the dynamic-pressure-reduced G-POWER DAINLES® System, together with metal catalytic converters and stainless steel high-performance headers. The newly developed system is available for all engines with either a four- or two-pipe system. The electronic 250 km/h speed limit is eliminated from the online programming.

For the 745i model G-POWER offers the well-known supercharged G7 4.4K EVOI with a capacity of 500 PS / 367 kW at 5,700 rpm and a maximum torque of 700 Nm at 4,250 revolutions. As a result, the well-tuned V8 luxury limousine sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The maximum speed is in excess of 300 km/h.

G-POWER sets a milestone in its 20-year history with the new aerodynamic design line HIGHLINE. This new product series was designed by the G-POWER team in cooperation with automotive designers. Particular attention was devoted to emphasizing the BMW’s sporty lines without it appearing too ostentatious. The aerodynamic elements lend a sportier design to the BMW models, and the dimensions are identical to the series parts.

The elegant design was verified with a wind-tunnel test run in January 2004. With G-POWER’s aerodynamic package, the ascending force on the front axle could be reduced at high speeds by approximately 20 kg and on the rear axle by approximately 23 kg, depending on the fittings. Especially with the G-POWER supercharged engines, the fresh-air intake at the front of the car was increased, and the motor oil temperature was lowered by 3-5 degrees. The automotive designers developed the new HIGHLINE edge lines for the boot door in order to round off the overall visual image and give the new BMW design a harmonious finish.

G-POWER’s G7 HIGHLINE aerodynamic package is available as a complete set for 11,600.00 € and includes the front fender, graphite insets on the front, side trim, rear fender, graphite insets in the rear and the boot rack.

In connection with the new motorisation, G-POWER delivers IIIPRO aluminium wheels (9.0 x 22 inches on the front axle and 10.5 x 22 inches on the rear axle), specially developed for G7 styling. The three-piece, 15-spoked rims with a high-finish stainless steel outer base are made of forged aluminium and are available in 20, 21 or 22 inches for all BMW models. Concerning the size of the tyre set, 265/30 ZR 22 size was selected for the front axle and 295/25 ZR 22 for the rear axle. The complete set of tyres costs 9,800.00 €.

If you drive fast you need to be able to stop quickly, too. Therefore, G-POWER’s G7 is fitted with the tried and tested high performance braking system G-POWER S 85, with a diameter of 385 mm and six pistons on the front axle, at cost of 8,950.00 €. For the rear axle, G-POWER offers the S 55 six-piston system with a width of 355 mm, also for 8,950.00 €.

For improved comfort, the chassis was progressively lowered by 25 mm on the front axle and 20 mm on the rear axle.

For a refined interior, G-POWER offers such exclusive accessories as an aluminium pedal with sporty footrest, a sporty graphite interior in a choice of black or white, and high-quality G-POWER Kjerba Walknappa leather fittings. The G-POWER leather fittings, which are crafted with the highest quality of workmanship, cost 14,600.00 € and can be delivered in any colour combination, upon customer request.

The complete price of the car is 214,000.00 €.

The 318Ti uses clear euro/altezza taillights.

No, no M7 seven will be built. BMW is not like Mercedes/AMG who offer an AMG version of almost any model even if it wasn´t suppesed to go that fast in the first place. :?

If the M7 did go to production...it would have to have one mighty beast of an engine to hauhl around that 2.5 tonne machine. Do you think they'll use the same materails as the M3 CSL? You know, all that carbon fibre stuff....more importantly, will the I-Drive system still be included? *shivers* I- Drive = Driver's worst nightmare. Will they have a manual version or something new like a seven speed tiptronic system? Will she still be "fat"?

The only reason I can think of for making an M7 would be to compete with the Audi S8 and the Mercedes S55.

As if the speculation of an M7 isnt already ridiculous enough, you are propossing an "M7 CSL"... :?

This post, it is getting retarded.
there will be no M7. That is a fact... M GmbH has problems supplying the demand of M cars. That is the reason why we have not seen or heard of an M version of the Z4 yet. They are focusing on the M5, and M6

I think that definitely the M6 is going to have the same engine as the M5 because a 6 series is simply the coupe version of a 5 series, or a 2 door 5 series in other words. In addition, about 1986, there were both versions, M5 and M6, sharing the market in the same period, and during that period, both versions shared the same engine, and power as well

M7 CSL??? I don't know if you know... but the L stands for Licht, that is the same as light. Can you imagine that Big Luxury car being light???

I don't...

On the other hand,,....i think that BMW is not going to launch any M7 version, simply because BMW has not tradition of getting any sporty version or M version for its 7 series, although during the 80´s BMW launched its 745 turbo, but the car´s philosophy was different from the M series vehicles

Unless the building of the M7 seems profitable in the market, or BMW changes its strategy radically
