? on the Koenigsegg CC

The koenigsegg looks like an incredible car, as most of you know, but in the top gear video, Jeremy says that the 0-60 estimate is 3.0 secs and the top speed is 245 mph. Has anybody tested these yet because it would be incredible if it could beat the enzo or mclaren f1.

The one that did the Gumball last year supposedly
did 240mph, but some people don't believe that it
actually did as the driver was having quite a bit of
trouble at speeds much lower than 240mph.

Surprisingly they're only claming a top speed of
244mph for the CCR or only about 4mph faster
than the CC.

well there are two odd things about the cc and ccr, first the cc never even came close to the estimated acceleration performance.

Second the ccr performance claims are almost identical to the cc ones

Search in JW there are several Topics on the Koenigsegg. It had been tested by several magazines but its times were far from those of the Mclaren ... by every mag. that tested it :wink:

well if it has 806 bhp....
but for me in a circuit the enzo or the zonda can go much faster....if you only see the vids of jc you will see that when he tested the zonda he did it on some kind of wet(there were some parts of the track that were wet on purpose as they said)..instead the coenninggsegg did that time when the circuit was dry and made a worse time than the zonda!!!!

in Autocar, they mention it accelerates to 60 in 4.4 and to 100 in 8.4 sec, far from a McLaren or even a Zonda

4.4? They must be the worst drivers in the world or there was something wrong with the car. I easily does sub 4 second 0-60 runs.

yeah you´re right, they say in the article that they suspect that car wasn´t making the full 655 hp Koenigsegg claims
