Ok, so you know how you get tired sometimes while your driving?! The Lincoln engineers have solved this problem for you!!!! If you put down the split fold rear seat, you can sleep in the trunk!! I am 100% sure it was engineered into the car for this purpose. Anyone up to and including 6'2 can sleep in the lincolns trunk, comfortably. JEEZ! AMAZING! Now I don't have to pay for a motel on spring break. Joooygasim!!

LMAO! Ive slept in my trunk before. The only weird part is waking up and realizing your in a trunk, those first few minutes are a little confusing LOL

Or maybe it is for long objects, and its not actually a new thing with split fold rear seat.......

For the rest of the civilized world, split folding rear seats are a standard we have come to accept... but in the US they have only started incorporating em into cars here.

Go figure, when I bought my Ford Contour in 1997, it didn't have a split folding seat - as it was not yet popular.

There you had a "world" car de-engineered for the US market.

I have also owned 3 Town cars since 1995 (a 1990, a 1998 and a 2001) and I can tell you that apart from being supremely luxurious and comfy (the term land-yacht is well-deserved) for long distance free-way trips - they are plagued by Fords very poor quality control and workmanship.

Oh and let me tell you the price of used Lincolns falls quicker than a cheap hookers underwear when sailors go on shore leave.

I bought em all used so as not to be raped with new price.

For example : I bought the 98 for $24,000 when it was 12 months old and had 9,000 miles on it. The original window sticker was in the cubby hole - $49,600.00 - The 2001 I picked up for $26K - similar condition age and price hows that for an ass-raping on devaluation...? ;)

Cadillac is even worse.

And now you just have to explain what in the hell you were thinking when you bought a Contour! LOL

Such a terrible terrible car, the only reason they sell so many is because rental companies buy them in bulk!
(I don't know if that is true, but it's funny damnit)

Because my sister and a few buddies bought the Modeo and loved it... LOL - I was foolish enough to think that the US car was as good as the "world" version... LOL... ;)
