First - Welcome :)

Second - topic moved to the right place

Third - I love the interior of the Tuscan Speed 6 (or the S)

I'm not really into a 'cuddly'-design. I like firm seats which hold me tight during cornering. The most cuddly seats I've been in are those of a Volvo, they make comfortable seats.

The Tuscan and Zonda both have nice original interior design.

I also like the cockpit-like design of my '92 model BMW 3series' dash.

Worst interior? Fake wooden, plastic Japanese interior. Don't mean to generalise, but most Japanese cars I've been in have it... :?

LOL; my 3series is from 1995, but it's basically the same.. and I love it too :)

As long as the seat holds me down without requiring me to apply Velcro to both the seat and my jeans, I tend to like it. :)

I'm not all too picky with interior materials, as long as their fairly durable, and rather non-intrusive - you should be staring at the road, not letting your eyes wander down to the dash.

One thing I've found myself starting to be unable to live without, however, is an HUD display. Now that I've gotten used to driving one with my car, I've found myself getting annoyed with looking down to check my speed...or just ignoring my speed, entirely :)

OooOOo... when it comes to materials there is something about that creamy soft european leather that cant be beat.

A lot fo cars have very nice interiors, but I would have to say the Porsche Carrera GT's is the best.

Now that you mention it, a simple Carrera has a nice interior as well. With Carrera carved in the metal pieces on the handbrake and all...Nice.

TVR's have a very nice interior, but I think I would get bored of it after a while.

For a sporty interior, I love the Ferrari 550 & 575. Here the 550 barchetta (cabrio version).

http://www.ferrariusa.com/550Barchetta/img/BackgroundInterior01.JPG

But for a luxery car, I like the perfection of the Audi A8.

I like the seats in the Murcielago, but I must say as ugly as the Koenigseggs exterior is, the interior is nice. But I cant overlook the diablo. But some would argue im not being impartial (hence my reference to the Koenigsegg).

I think the award for the coolest interior goes to the F40. One can never forget the "no socks" attitude of the F40. Manual window winders, horrible red recaros, no carpet, ugly carbon fiber... what more can one not want when they pay so much money? I know... I know... its a go-hard track car etc...

New range rover, 100 times!

It's spacious, luxurious, classy, what else do you want? Tuscan? yes, pretty original for a sport's car, pagani's rather nice, I like audi's too, but the best for me is range rover.

draak666
08-04-2003, 04:02 PM
Yeah, Range Rover is ok, but very sober, and a little too comfy for a car. It doesn't make you aware about the fact that you're actually involved in driving a car.

Im not a fan of british interiors, all that wood and etc... I like high tech plastics and polished metal.

draak666
08-04-2003, 04:25 PM
Carbon fiber gives your dash a cool racing image, but I hate plain plastic.

mendocino
08-04-2003, 04:31 PM
of course that's all a matter of taste, but I 'm very attracted to great british all wood and leather interior, I really like the cars that give you that living room sensation. of course I'm talking about everyday car, work car, not a racing-track car, that for sure is different.

everone who said lambo and tuscan, have you really sitten in them?

The best car seats I have sitten in have to M3 vaders. I drool everytime I think about how great they are. Now if only I could find 1200$ to buy them for my 325i.

draak666
08-05-2003, 03:12 PM
What do you think? No I haven't sat in 'em. I only saw one Tuscan in real life and it passed me by on the highway. No time to switch seats with the driver. But I was only talking 'bout the looks, so...

Now, if we're talking about how it feels like to sit in, then any Recaro seat will do :D No matter what car it's in...

those colors hurt my eyes and im color blind.

hmm when talkinga bout best interior, i just cant see how a sports car can ever be listed there. Take a look at the Maybach, its simply stunning if you ever get to see one on the road, let alone buy it.

I can't speak for cars I've never driven or ridden in, but for the most part BMW's have good interiors, quality materials and good assembly quality, also their seats are comfortable yet usable when cornering gets hard. Volvo seats are very comfy but too soft for my taste and their choice in materials is a little bit too dark for me.

And the best interiors in a car that I've actually driven?: the new Audi S4, it's got cool looking gauges, very funtional displays and excellent Recaro leather seats. :)

Finally, I have to agree with Everso: the Audi TT has my pick (I mean, I bought if after all ;) ), just wished it had the Golf R32 König seats. :lol
The best looking interiors comes from Aston Martin and the new Range Rover, I hope the new Bugatti Veyron interior is as good looking in real as in the pictures.

Well if you guys want to write about your own cars, it's fine with me, but if it was ANY car...

Koenigsegg CC8S!

-It has NASA-developed Tempur seats that make imprints of the driver's body(tempurs were used for shuttle seat padding and such...)
-It has that crazy ignition system...read EVO #61 November
-Center console has a unique telephone-dial controls

And the insane door is just a big plus!

I think the best interior by far is in the new Range Rover. I know its not sporty but you have to admit that it is the most luxurious but practical and well thought out interior in a long time! The interior to the new Aston DB9 looks stunning as well.

I've sat in an Audi TT and a Mazda RX8, they both look really good in the pictures, but they both feel rather cheap :(

Quite surprising for the TT, looks so good on the outside!!!
And when you close that door on the TT, it dosnt feel as solid as it should.
I hate the door trimmings on the TT, dials are lovely though.

I can. IMO it looks even worse than the pleated (?) leather you see in American cars.

I posted what interiors I think are most beautiful here: http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3857&highlight=interior
There's an Audi among them , but not the TT.

The Audi TT is not an Aston Martin but if feels and funtions as good as any other car in the premium market. After all, it's interior desing is very well-matched to it's exterior looks.

Have you actually driven a TT? I don't think so. ooops! I forgot, you're too young to even have a driver's permit.. too bad.

I think the Mazda RX8 is beautiful also, I test drove it not too long ago. It is baby smooth.

I finally found out what the Koenigsegg is, I haven't seen it before in car magazines or videos. It's a cool car, I found a good gallery of it at http://community.webshots.com/album/37234084XsqPkA
