i saw in the goodwood festival of speed they previewed a special edition corvette that was designed and built in italy (or was it germany?) and i can't remember what the name of it was and i can't find anything about it on the net

I saw that car at the Concorso Italiano...I didn't snap a picture though. It was a red one that I saw.

Yeah - the Italians (Pininfarina to be exact) tried their hand at a Vette in 63 as well.. ;)

I remember that one. It kinda looks like a cross between an old Ferrari, an Alfa, and a Carmen Gia. Well, when the italians start copying our cars, you know you've got something special on your hands. :wink:

There is nothing wrong with Corvettes, Italian-made or anyhow. Now (new) Viper is the wrong car...over priced, uselessly large engine (8.3liters "only" for 500hp...which has way more potential than that), dubious Japanese styling...by the same guy who designed US Toyota Camry and Corolla
