I know, there is no reason for this topic to be on this forum, but hopefully you guys can help me figure this out.

recently, a friend a mine received some leather/suede leather coats from a coworker (I guess it was a gift), but we never heard of the company.

The company is called "Emporio GV", and inside of the leather coats, it says "hand made in Italy" on the tag.

I am just wondering if you guys ever heard of the company and if the leather is real or fake. :?:

Come to think of it BADMIHAI had a good point. I think someone just combined two well known brands Emporio and GV to create a convincing sounding knockoff.

Real good leather starts at about $700 US. I recieved a leather jacket as a present from my aunt one year and when I got a scratch on it, I tried to replace it and no one could fix it because the leather was so good that I had to buy another jacket or send it to Italy to be fixed but I found a way to fix it with the inside leather so everything ended up fine, BTW Andrew Marc leather sucks and so does Danier Leather. If you have the cash go to a nice high end store such as Neiman Marcus or Dunhill and get a wicked jacket, trust me women can tell the difference.
